BUG mod config message constantly flashing

Hello Civis,

I wonder how to turn off the ever-flashing BUG mod config message (-> `Press ALT+CTRL+O to customize ...`) in Beyond the sword ?

I have seeked everyhwhere to get hints for turning this off - but no use

I am completely new to the game and I shall appreciate your help

Step 1: Do what it says and press ALT + CTRL + O

Step 2: Find the thing in those settings that turns off the message. It is one one of the last tabs (2nd from last maybe?). You need to uncheck a box that is labeled something a little bit like "show the incredibly irritating message".
