Bug Reports and Technical Issues

A save that allows me to reproduce the error messages wold help.

Crap I prolly saved over it at a later date... :< I might do a new game and see if it happens again.

Okay. Without that it's almost impossible for me to see what exactly was wrong and if my fix worked.

I put this...hmm...bug in here. Basically nothing is wrong, but on the other hand everything is wrong :crazyeye: Orto Holy city founded in 190AD.

Can you explain more? I see Catholicism everywhere in Europe, how did it get there? Did Orthodoxy exist as well in the old world?

I noticed often catholicism shortly follow orthordoxism.... Sounds like the mayans got theology early? Since it is originally the mayan capital. Though WTH thats like 10 turns after they appeared!

They can invent montheism for about 9 turns, which leads to theology, maybe they got a hut that gave the tech? after that?

~~~
Just for good meassure build viking cities in england even 1 spot below where london comes (birka) When the english appear I get lines of errors and the map becomes english but the english never show up. Similar to my babylon to persia deal. Is my DoC faulty? I used the latest 1.14 patch from like late june.
Not sure what happened with Orthodoxy and Mayan, but Catholism was born late in 350AD in Xou (Egypt) right after Byzantium spawned. First they were 1 turn Orthodoxians, then they swapped to Judaism cause of Jerusalem. After that Xou. I attach a savegame from 330AD in case of intrest.
When clicking on the Members tab of the F8 screen I get a bunch of Python exceptions. See the attached screenshot. I would attach a save, but this happened on the very first turn of the 600AD scenario as China without doing anything else after clicking away the Dawn of Man screen.
Edit: This doesn't happen in the 1700AD scenario.
Does not reproduce, do you have specific interface settings?
Huh, weird. Will give it a try.
Well, I started up a game as the Mayans and immediately found the Orthodox holy city in the new world, hopefully that narrows down the bug a little...
Do you still have the 3000 BC autosave from that game?
Hi. Long time lurker, first time poster. This is an awesome mod, and I've been playing several versions of it in the past, however, with 1.14 I've noticing the tech development is slower in my games: On my average game (600 AD) I struggle to get to Replacement Parts by the time the Prussians are about to spawn.
I'd like to know if this is on purpouse or if there's something wrong with my installation.
Thanks, and sorry if I made some obvious rookie mistakes.
Playing as China in the 3000 BCE scenario, cities other than Chang'an start with 2 population instead of 1.
Also, I noticed the Topkapi Palace, despite being build by the Ottomans, requires Orthodoxy and not Islam. Not sure if this was a bug or intentional.
Welcome to active posting! I haven't made any intentional changes to tech speed, but there can always be side effects. Forgive me if I don't spend too much time on observing this, because the next release will come with a new tech tree anyway.
Noted.
Intentional: it requires Orthodoxy in the city and Islam as state religion.
Should be normal if you founded those cities in the Classical Era already. If you did during the Ancient Era, then it is a bug :)
