Bug Reports and Technical Issues

I just loaded up a 1700 AD Prussia campaign on the latest GitHub commit. I tried to build a National College in the capital, and unfortunately experienced a CTD. The icon in the build menu is still a pink square.

Not on my end, you must have updated your VD module incorrectly.

I found two :hammers: in the Image of the World Square civilopedia entry, it's the first typeface error I've seen yet since that update the other week.

This is what it looks like to me, which seems fine. Can you explain more?

Here ya go. End turn on the autosave and switch to Poland, or end turn on the regular save.
I can dismiss them and continue as usual.
Sorry, but no error for me in both of these saves.

Oh, it didn't even occur to me that it could be in the description text. I think neither is correct, and the difference is what the invalid content is resolved to. Will have another look.

@Leoreth, have you seen this? I grabbed the GitHub version aeb75e2 that you released today, and I grabbed the soundtrack expansion module. It modifies CIV4GameInfoSchema.xml and causes the game to fail to load.

Never mind about that, I found the issue. Can you check your pull requests for DoC-Soundtrack in your GitHub and look for my pull request? I have fixed the issues.

Modules are not supported for the development version unless explicitly noted.

I'm not saying anything against that. I am saying that modules are not supported for the development version unless explicitly noted.

In 600 A.D. scenario, China begins with Taizong as leader, but after the first turn, the leaderhead changes to Hongwu. Save attached.

in 3000 B.C. Ghana begins with merchant trade civic, but in the 600 A.D. they begin with redistribution. Since Ghana was know for its vast trade connections and merchant trade help a lot in building wangaras, merchant trade should be the initial option in both scenarios.

On Paragon (and maybe other difficulties, idk) but not on Regent, the +10% bonus against barbarians has the exact opposite effect, giving THEM +10% against your units. This applies only against barb units.

The tooltip is contradictory - your bonus is spelled out in green, but their strength is calculated as if it was -10%

So the effect is correct but the tooltip is wrong?

The effect is wrong - instead of an even fight, barbarians get +10% (as far as I can tell, I doubt it's just a display issue)

this is also visible when viewing the calculated strengths of the two units before combat - it's displayed that the barbarians get the +10% to their strength

But it's Paragon, right? So barbarians should get the +10%.

I mean, honestly I am not aware what the exact Paragon settings are. But if it's a harder difficulty I would expect barbarians to be stronger.

Either way, I will look at the UI display.
