No it doesn't - there's already a thread about the game there. And it's not good enough to deserve two threads.

i want to get it, either i'll buy it or acquire it some other way.
My 2.8ghz P4 512mb ram is fine enough to run Generals ;)

Does your game sorta lag too Phoneix?

PLUS- I have a question....how do i skip through the movies before a mission?

plus, are the troops supposed to go really slow?

@china444,

very little lag.

i wish i knew how to skip movies.

as for the troops, really slow? well, i don't know about that. never really noticed it, but i suppose they are quite slow.

C&C Generals is fun, but the interface is just beyond ulgy. Shot the absolute cretin that imagined this f*cking left-click-do-all horror. And the AI is purely AWFUL.
Not talking about the ressources it takes. Wonder why it requires such a powerful computer BTW, as it's not particularly impressive - except for the smoke, which is really excellent.

Well, and the campaigns are a bit nauseous. And there is no scenario nor cutscenes nor characters.

Good for a bit of MP fun, but can't compete with War3, and the SP is just boring.

The OVERPOWERING chinese dragon tanks as kentonio mentioned.

Well, I've got a 2.53 GHz processor, 512 Meg Ram, 64Meg Graphics card and it runs fine 99% of the time, with everything on full:
However, in the final Yank mission when you gain control of a Chinese base, I decided to launch a simultaneous "Shock and Awe" attack on the main enemy building area:
Full (level Three) A-10 attack
Fuel Air Bomb
2 Chinese Nukes
2 Orbital Laser strikes
That practically killed the frame-rate stone dead.
You definitely need a good processor and kit for this game.

Hey regarding the pics this game looks awesome :goodjob: Hmm I think I might go to my first class US-version retailer and buy this action packed game wohoo

Is it just me, or has the generals online been down for awhile? I beat all the missions, and think im good enough for MP, but when I try to create an account or login, it says couldn't connect to generals online. I downloaded the patch thing that it said to....

this game rocks man china seems to have a very slight, but only against unexperienced players, theres many many many ways to counter flame tanks, apocalypse tanks (or whatever there called) and migs or whatever other units you hate. personally i seem to be able to beat china almost every game online, they always go for the same units and strategies and i can use air units humvees and col. burton to seriously hurt them. the only thing i don't like about this game si the total lack of a story, its just a bunch of missions strung together with no cutscenes or anything, the only real flaw in a great game.

How I want this game. PIII 900 Mhz, 385 MB RAM. Will that cut it? I run AoM fine without slowdown, and SimCity 4 goes well into I get into the higher numbers of citizens. No graphics card to speak of, but I never had trouble with it.

Does my PC stand a chance with this game?
