C2C - UEM - Ultimate-Earth-Map 100% MOD and SVN update compatible by Pit2015

I don't think you understand the box in which we operate with this modding thing. It is a far cry from true full programming. I have enough knowledge to know there's a LOT I don't know and am not sure I have the capacity to learn.

Still the best game for me, dosent matter how it arrived here or if it was a full progamming. :thumbsup: What has been done is very cool, and if thats based on Civ IV it doesn't matter and that is fully ok. No one knows all, no one finishes learning ever. Some briliant minds put this together here, that dont meens they cant learn more, but just look at the tech tree and all the possibilities. You and others have fixed hundreds of problems i reported here and made it to what it is now. Thats history for sure. One time you fixed my map after a big update issue and also there you didnt know if you can make it, but you did it. Alot of ppl did put this together here, so there will come new ones and others, old ones will go and some will come back... but for sure what has been done here is outstanding and a creative power that will be remebered. The last 3 years without C2C would not have been the good 3 years i got with C2C, so many hours of fun and i always regame it. Good job. And yes i am already nearly 4 years here now... :goodjob: Oh yeah time is running, but i still restarting a new game and updating UEM, one day i will build my superpower and finish a full game in eternity and maybe send my settlers into multimap space. :) And if not, because time runs to fast it was a pleasure to try it and it refreshed my english a bit. :thumbsup: All of us learned something here and btw we learned alot of stuff. I know there are limits, but these limits have been broken alot of times here. Letz go. :goodjob: And we all know: *Sid Meier is secretly gaming this* :)

I guess green bars are broken, no one will fix it, as most likely its EXE fault.

Although I will say that of all the things there are to fix, those bars are the last of my concerns. So... noted. Maybe I'll spot the issue at some point when I look at it next, knowing the pic I've seen here shows some hard to understand odd behavior.

Keep in mind that i only saw that on neanderthal warrior, maybe this problem is not for all units, but i will keep a eye on that and report if i see more.

Can anything be done to make "to have" multi resources profitable? So if a civ has 10 plots oil should be different than a civ that has only 1, so multiresources maybe can give production bonus or something like this or a income benefit, a benefit for having more than one resource of one type... just saw a oil documentation. :)

Only through corporations is that possible in any way at the moment.

Deity+Eternity arround turn 300: Got lucky in my new game, my US elite forces took mohawk! But this time it was harder without surround and destroy in scenario, we lost some units... now my forces marching on to the sioux city in the south. If we can take that we will have north america secured and we will be ready to build up our nation. And yes we did it! We took cahokia! North america is secured but now we are running out of gold by maintenance cost, we have to power up our economy asap and it will take a long time untill we can contact the other civs in europe and asia now and later the rest of the world, because of the travel change in UEM 3.8. I will take this game as long as possible now and try to build up a superpower. Later when the AI has more units it will be very hard to take them and without cultural assimilation i cant steal them all hero units. We where fast and lucky and we lost some units, will it be enouth to keep the world leader position this time? History will show... we falling back on research alot now, letz see if we can come up again. (Currently i am on 0% research)

Why do you take AI cities so early? That basically assures you will stay on top for all game and that doesn't give much of a challenge.

It's in one of the folders in the XML folder somewhere.

CIV4GameOptionsInfos.xml

<GameOptionInfo>
<Type>GAMEOPTION_ASSIMILATION</Type>
<Description>TXT_KEY_GAMEOPTION_ASSIMILATION</Description>
<Help>TXT_KEY_GAMEOPTION_ASSIMILATION_HELP</Help>
<bDefault>1</bDefault>
<bVisible>0</bVisible>
</GameOptionInfo>

Maybe that schould truned off in mod also so the gamer can turn it off and on and it will work with scenarios correctly.

1. On deity and eternity it is mostly the only way to stay on top with other civs, but it is not a guarantee...

2. You need luck and to be good to archive it.

3. Its a startegy to secure land and get stronger than others but is costly you pay alot and you fall back in research and no guarantee that you win the war.

4. On this scale also if you stay on top you can get crushed, because when you have alot of terrain you need alot to defend it.

Its just a little protection to survive but no guarantee on deity + eternity. Map is so large you cant go everywhere in the first timelines. And if 2 AI make war with you, then you are not at top anymore. :) Or if a enemy civs makes war with you in a region where you are weak than you are also not on the top anymore. Also scenario is very hard now, with all new settings and ocean travel restrictions gives the AI alot of time to build up.

So still the hardest challenge but early conquest a good strategy to survive a longer time. But is limited. And also if you are on 1. place in the world meens not your won, i want to see the gamer that kills all civs on UEM. :goodjob: And other civs can be 1. later again. You cant take more then 2-3 citys early, if you can you need a very strong force now, and then you run out of gold. Risky gameplay, but if you can make it you may survive longer.

It was universally agreed at the time we turned it on and invisible that all would want to play with it enough to warrant it be set to default true and removed from the option list because we were trying to eliminate what options we could to cut down on game setup time.

Makes the AI to easy if culture is assimilated, so you can build all cultures fast where heroes are in and AI cant build them anymore, making you to have alot of heroes and the AI to have none or less, so should be turned off and if some wants it easy he can turn it on.

You're the only one of quite a few who feel that way. It's going to be obsoleted eventually by another way to run cultures being introduced.

On last game i was in war with aborigines and i was able to kill them with my super hero, because they cant build any and if i didnt had my super hero my army would not be able to win this war fast or at all.

Or make cultures only to build by birth culture dosent matter, otherwise you took only one city from every world culture region and you can build all hero cultures.

(If you want to make early conquest harder you can add +100% defense by palace building, then no one can capture a capital city early before he has siege equipment. But is very hard to do now, you need to be lucky and manage to get neanderthals culture before the AI gets it and you need elite forces. Very hard to archiev a early war victory now on deity + eternity, and no guarantee that it gets or keeps you on first place or you win the game.)
