Crazy. :):crazyeye::) Mothership is collecting UFO's/Drones above earth??? Real or Fake? Its said it was captured on ISS live feed, guy recorded his TV.

I say oumuamua brought it here. :)

I can confirm that this video may be a fake, you can see at 1.10 - 1.12 when the ship appears that the background is going darker and some lights disapear, looks like a videoediting effect.

But good stuff for a movie.

UFP Report released, as said they dont know anything if they tell the truth. 143 of 144 cases cant be explained. Should be the start of more research. There is a open release and a longer classified release to congress.

Pentagon-UFO-Report:

"Most of the UAP reported probably do represent physical objects given that a majority of UAP were registered across multiple sensors, to include radar, infrared, electro-optical, weapon seekers, and visual observation. "

Meens some objects are picked up visual, by radar and satellite at same time and these objects are most likely physical real objects.

I saw a video the other day about a scientist who had published a paper theorizing viable antigravity devices, which then disappeared and is now rumored to be secretly working with the defense department or something like that. These flying balls move just like the theorized antigravity propelled systems would, seamlessly transitioning from water to air. Probably just Area51 testing prototypes again. After all, the only military who could give a serious scare to the US is the US itself, which tends to happen when you have so many secrets and compartments and whatnot. The navy is just jealous that the air force can now move through water effortlessly, making them obsolete, so they make all this fuss now.

I saw this some days ago, more likely china offered her alot of money and she defected to china. :) So china is stealing alot of technology but the truth here is most likely that the tests/tech did not worked, china still investing billions into lame rocket tech as US and other countrys also, no one will do that if they have anti gravity, well the aliens or someone else will not give out there technology so easy to the normal humans. Ok still a bit possibility that someone has anti gravity tech but is unlikely that any earth country has it.

Also you have to keep in mind that alot of recordings was taken before this research of Ning-Li has taken place, so maybe they try to replicate it but they cant do it until now, so there will be a interest from china and other countrys to get what they can.

Also you see that the dr. pais patents are told to be done for the navy.

Some ppl try to recreate it and failed:

Ning Li sounds believing alot in anti gravity here you can look the real full video, so she may started the company because she believed she can create the tech, but maybe she failed also but some countrys may pay more research or will get all they can.

If she did it then who has the tech now. :):crazyeye::)

Ultima VIII was after my time for that series. I played IV nearly the whole way through and accidentally ruined the game disk on a swapout call on the very very last scene because I tried to switch it out too fast. lol. Old guard. lol.

Hello everyone! First, thank you Pit2015 for making this amazing map! UEM 5.1 is my personal favorite map. Thank you to the whole modding team as well for all of your amazing work on C2C. The dedication, creativity, passion and grand ambition going into this mod are amazing. To say you are all doing a great job feels like a huge understatement. C2C is something really special.

I've made an alternate variant of Pit2015's UEM 5.1 for v41.2 with many rivers differently placed, all rivers made continuous, a few small regions given somewhat different terrain, a few natural wonders differently placed, all to resemble current earth a bit more closely while keeping civ placement and (I think) UEM's current balance intact. I also have a lot of alternate game options enabled by default. I started out building the scenario variant just for my own use but I decided to share since I thought others might be interested. My alternate variant seems to be fully debugged and fully playable although I could have missed something that doesn't show up early on. I modified the map using the in-game C2C worldbuilder and then I debugged manually using Notepad ++.

The only balance issue I’ve noticed is that Egypt seems a little too powerful and too much more interested in the Levant compared with UEM 5.1, likely because of the addition of the Jordan River, and the Dead Sea being made closer to Egypt to fit its historical location. I’ll need to test this further to see if this is a consistent issue. Either way, Egypt doesn’t seem able to steamroll this region and eventually tends to focus mainly on the Nile, so this isn’t a huge issue. Egypt has controlled the Levant historically sometimes, so this is also acceptable for me from a historical perspective.

This is my first post on civfanatics and my first time sharing something civ-related.

Here is a link to the variant scenario I built: https://easyupload.io/ap9q6t

The name seems to have cut off slightly in EasyUpload.io, but the scenario is for v41.2, not for v41.0.

Here is a list of the differences between my version and original UEM 5.1 for v41.2:

River differences:

-Total rework of all rivers in the Indian subcontinent including Sri Lanka. All rivers here have been made to closely follow the modern courses of real rivers, and the resulting river system in the subcontinent is much more dense and intricate than before. This took the most time to do.
-Major rework of the rivers of European Russia to depict the modern courses of real rivers in this area.
-Major rework of the rivers of Southern Africa. The most major change is the addition of the large Okavango River, which now drains into a delta in central Botswana. I also added marsh terrain to the Okavango Delta to reflect the unique and striking landscape there. Several other large rivers in this region have been added such as the Orange River.
-Major rework of the rivers of the Korean Peninsula to depict the modern courses of real major rivers in this area.
-Added the Jordan River, which flows into the Dead Sea (now placed in the Negev rather than in Syria).
-The Watanay River now begins one plot further south, making the Inca starting location now on a river. I’m pretty sure the Watanay is only navigable for quite small vessels in real life, but I wanted to reflect that Cusco started historically in a fertile agricultural valley.

-Added the Po River in Italy and changed the location of the Tiber to be next to Rome.

-The course of the Danube is modified.

-Added the Potomac River so that a more identifiable historical Washington, D.C. can be founded and the historically important boundary between Virginia and Maryland can be identified. If I remember right I made a few minor changes to nearby rivers such as the Hudson for similar reasons.

-I somewhat changed the course of the Columbia River in Cascadia and the Sacramento/San Joaquin River System in California.

-Filled in a few small gaps in the continuity of the Tigris, Euphrates, Rhine, Yangtze, Niger, Amazon River Watershed, and several other rivers.

Geography and terrain differences:

-The Kalahari Desert has been greatly expanded to reflect its modern historical area. Since the rivers in this area have also been expanded I think this doesn’t affect balance too much.

-I extended the Patagonian Desert in Argentina to reflect its modern historical area.

-I expanded Finland slightly and changed its shape with the goal of making it more recognizable.

I can confirm these are stable into the late Ancient Era with Nightmare difficulty, Eternal game speed, medium graphics, storms on, damaging terrain on, and Pit2015’s recommended viewport and RAM usage settings on my fairly low-end laptop. This is true with Microsoft Edge active in the background with a few tabs open.

I hope my work on this map/scenario variant is helpful! Cheers!

Will look into terrain changes and take good stuff into next UEM update. :) Some options you use can cause memory leaks in later game.

Awesome! :) Thank you for telling me about the memory leaks. Which options that I'm using can cause memory leaks in the later game? I definitely want to disable those.

I dont know, i only know less or no memory leaks with my options, you have to find out or use the in UEM set options for a more stable game. Can be one or more options that cause problems, revolutions in UEM works also better on eternity gamespeed, then the AI has more time to react and build units and buildings to counter revolutions. So eternity gamespeed for UEM recommended.

Also less options = less memory usage maybe.

Not necessarily. I don't think we have much of any outright memory leaks BUT some options (or lack thereof) may create some runaway unit generation scenarios that could be causing memory overloads.

Is there a way for me to confirm whether there is a memory leak happening?

With my options above I got my first MAF late in the ancient era. This happened after scrolling the map a lot before seeing your first response, while I had Microsoft Edge open in the background, medium graphics and when I had just discovered the start of the Russian Far East (and a Mongolian city) with all of Africa, the whole rest of Eurasia and much of the Indian Ocean already discovered, and most of that visible due to good espionage. Given that, the MAF isn't all that surprising on my computer with UEM's size and there is a lot I can do to push farther.

It would be great if there is a way I can tell you exactly when and how MAFs start being caused by memory leaks rather than regular memory overloads. That clue might point to what kind of issue is causing the memory leak.

Thank you for telling me about revolutions working best with eternal gamespeed. It is good to hear revolutions works especially well with the gamespeed I use :)

Not necessarily. I don't think we have much of any outright memory leaks BUT some options (or lack thereof) may create some runaway unit generation scenarios that could be causing memory overloads.

It strikes me that if runaway unit generation is a big cause of MAFs the RagingBarbarians option in particular could create much earlier MAFs, especially with of the size of UEM and in 41.2 where the barbarians tend to focus much more often (at least in my experience) on travelling to barbarian cities and defending them rather than on being aggressive. Less aggressive barbarians will get eliminated in battle a lot less and tend to build up to huge numbers in difficult to attack barbarian cities. BarbarianWorld would likely also make this effect of Raging Barbarians lead to MAFs somewhat sooner, but RagingBarbarians without BarbarianWorld would be much more likely to make MAFs appear in earlier eras than BarbarianWorld without RagingBarbarians.

Edited to correct a sentence about BarbarianWorld that wasn't very clear.

Map scrolling is causing MAF somehow sometimes if done to fast, it think has to do something if there are to many objects/animals/units on map/in viewport and game cant load them fast enouth, if you use the minimap to scroll it will not MAF also you can preload the map when loading a game by jumping to every continent one time with mini map, so mostly no scrolling MAF anymore. Then you see on minimap that all trees are preloaded. Scrolling slow with a half second pause on larger distances will also not MAF, also zoom out to much and then scroll large distances then it can cause CTD, speaks for to much to display in a to short time, also when zoomed in more and then scrolling mostly never a MAF = less objects to load fast into display screen. The mod coding needs to fix or improve that. Attacking babarians are cool and cause some trouble, but maybe these babarian citys should not be conquerable, only should be able to be destroyed/razed.

(You can scroll via minimap very fast when holding down left mouse button on minimap and scroll by moving the mouse without MAF, thats btw weird and interesting)

The crash/leak is in the exe and cannot be fixed. We've done what we can by limiting what renders on the screen until it's ON the screen which is what causes the delays you see, and when you zoom out and pan about, you're doing everything you can to counter what we've done to correct the problem.

Hmm maybe hidden problem, scrolling with minimap is not causing that. Minimap scrolling is also faster.

Yes it would be hidden since we can't see the EXE coding. And yeah, I've always found you can avoid it by clicking on the minimap to go directly where you want it to be centered on and it's rare for that to cause a problem unless you're doing it a lot in rapid succession.

Hi there, this map seems deeply interesting to me. I would like to ask some questions:

1. Will it have crashes due to memory issues or something? Say, in a i5-3210M with 8gb RAM and SSD running it.

2. Does it have civilizations in old world or both new and world world?

4. Is it compatible with the latest version on moddb?
