Did you game on Nightmare + Eternity? AI is on noble, you can set them to lower difficulty lvl to give them more bonus.
Maybe i will create a new harder difficulty lvl later, extra hard challenge.

I have a level 55 Scout unit playing as Ragnar of the Vikings after 1625 turns and beating my closest rival by 17 points. I have defeated Athens and Moscow and have 3 cities. I believe I am playing on all of your Original settings with Space included and I am Eternity but not Nightmare. Still don't have time to try your ideas about giving you a Screenshot. This is the best mod mod for C2C by far. If you could private message me with the best way to create a Screenshot then I could always keep your directions. Thanks for all of your work and creativity. Take the challenge and if you can reach modern you rock, may look easy but may become harder later. If you set up correctly as told on first page here:
TAKE THE UEM CHALLENGE - HARD SCENARIO - GAME RULES:
1. Dont change anything in the scenario, game the scenario as it is preset.
2. Game on nightmare difficulty and on eternity game speed.
3. Dont reload, take the outcome you get, dont cheat, be honest to yourself and if you fail try again, or try to survive.
4. Use these BUG settings:
Turn off "Damaging terrain" in game in BUG (Green bug icon left upper in game) on a new game.
Disable "Battlefield promotions" in game in BUG (Green bug icon left upper in game) on a new game. (Off by default)
(Optional) Also disable "Minimize AI turn time" so you get all combat animations.
5. Do not turn events off, random events can hit you or benefit you, so the game can change the direction randomly and its not so linear.
6. If you like report your games here.
Also eternity gamespeed makes the game harder as it gives the other civs and barbarians more time to build up, other gamesspeeds are for losers and to easy, also the AI builds more units now and is a bit better on defense and offense. I have now some hard battles and hordes of barbarians attacking me with 15-20 unit stacks currently, these freaks destroyed my beaver resource, slowing my economy down and my army was down to 10% while holding the city.
Also some UEM scenario settings make the game harder, so dont change anything on gamesetup, just start the UEM scenario as it is (Play scenario) + nightmare + eternity gamespeed and take the challenge and you will have a harder game.

Anyone know how to cut this map in half for game performance optimization? Remove both Americas, make grid width smaller, keeping cylindrical shape.
I've edited map save file changing grid width and deleting everything after plot 129 and it works.

I do not believe that we have had anyone offer/volunteer to translate C2C into Chinese language.
Joseph will travel to china and ask Xi Jinping.

Not being a Latin based language in print, imagine the wild coding requirements!
At least Python supports UTF-8 since 2.3 ( https://peps.python.org/pep-0263/ ), and Civ IV uses Python 2.4 ( https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/python-version.641198/post-15345804 ).
