Yeah, commerce and shields may vary due to pop status, traits and specific tile values (e.g. commerce-dream for the English would be a center square on coastal gold hill at a river).
Base is 2/1/2 for towns.
Food bonus do not conserve, though. It's always 2 (3 for agri).

Has anyone else noticed that:

1. When you take an AI city and the message reads "xx gold liberated/captured" your treasury doesn't actually go up by xx gold?

2. In the Napoleanic conquest, if one of your "locked alliance members" makes peace with someone you are at war with, everybody in the locked alliance (including you) makes peace? For example, I have taken terrible rep hits as the Brits by the Dutch making peace with the Prussians while I had an MA with the Austrians against the Prussians. Suddenly I am at peace with Prussians and the Austrians hate me for breaking the MA pact!

I know this has been asked before, but I cannot seem to find a list of all the changes made in C3C.

I just got the game and I am interested to read through what exact changes they made and what they added.

Does anyone know where I can find this?

Thanks.

Can I see a printable conquests tech tree?

First post for me.
Problem:
There's no aluminium on the map! This is one if my first games, and I was looking forward to creaming the uppity sumerians with all the cool modern age weaponry. Now it looks like there's no modern armor or nukes this time around:(

Can I somehow import my current game map to the editor and add some resources, or am I screwed? Need to start a new game if I want them fancy units?

Any help appreciated!

Welcome to CFC :salute: Enzo:

Are you sure it is not hidden under someone's city?

There is a way to hide all of the cities and improvements on the map to look for things like that.

I do not believe there is a way to change a map once play has started

Welcome to CFC, Enzo. :band:

First, have you discovered Rocketry?

If Yes, did you try Ctrl-Shift-M to see if Aluminium shows up anywhere? (As referred to by Mistfit.) :)

IMHO, there should be Aluminium on EVERY Map, providing you go far enough in the Tech Tree! (viz. Learn Rocketry.) :)

Eman, sir! I had indeed NOT researched rocketry
My first post was a stupid one. It can only get better!

Your first post wasn't stupid. If you had any idea how many people that trips up....poor design on Firaxis' part, I think. While it may make sense to have Modern Armor come out of Syntheic Fibers, and to have Aluminum come out of rocketry, it doesn't make much sense to be able to build something and not have the resources for it. Sure, I can see some scientist sitting around saying "Ya know, I have this great design...but I can't use it because we don't have aluminum." "What's aluminum?" would be the answer... But it still doesn't make sense to me.

Now, having Sythetic Fibers be dependant of Rocketry would make a bit more sense....

Well, yeah, I guess you could say the accuracy of the techs vs. resources is illogical. After all, Spitfires and B-17s and whatnot are usually made out of aluminium allloys. Arguing this way, alu should perhaps be made visible after researching flight.

I have personal experience with modern armor, and I can assure you that synthetic fibers aren't crucial. The only place in my tank with fancy fibers was a kevlar ballistic liner covering the inside walls in the battle compartment. It's there to catch shrapnel after a penetrating hit. It adds a little to crew safety, but kevlar is hardly a crucial component of a working modern battle tank.A laser, OTH, is a crucial component of the whole ballistic-computer big-ass-gun IR-sights contraption, and you can't build a modern tank without that...

Arguably, advanced ceramics are crucial for making "Chobham" or "composite" armor, which has replaced much of the steel protection on MBTs, but there's no tech called "ceramics" - perhaps one might argue that it's "included" in synth. fibers for simplicity?

Hi,

I tried adding Austria through the editor, but wasn't sure how to do it. I heard there is alreayd a unit, leaderhead etc set for them, how to import them into the rules section for changing Civilizations?

Hi everyone
I wonder if that has been asked before.
I'm on Conquests 1.22
I modified my biq file, by adding a couple of units i imported from another biq file (previously a bix one).
Unfortunately, i get an error message everytime i launch civ, and i get kicked out..
If i put back the original biq file, then it's okay.
Any ideas? (PS: i used to add units in PTW with no problems)
Thx a lot.

Did you add all the stuff you're supposed to add, like pediaicons.txt entries?

Yup
Everything is there in the PediaIcons.
I'm wondering whether there is a problem with the import functionality.

Guess it's the import functionality... :-(
Now i'll have to reinsert manually all the units i had created... :-(
(Just inserted a couple of ones, and it worked...)

Just bought c3c and upgraded latest patch.

noticed when changing govt yo war based under nationalism any wonders that were beingbuilt were stopped.
