You can do what I did. Used up all my cash to buy stuff, then left my city undefended. The barbs will sack my city and destroy my production. It's already size 1. Then they will plunder 4 gold. Not bad for a stack of 15+ longbowmen from one stack and 10+ longbowmen from another stack.

Well, it was supposed to be MY island ! But the barbs killed my first settler there !

Barbs were beefed up in units value (part of the plan) but I don't think the number of barbs camps has been increased.

I have played this game twice, and I have never seen this many barbs. I haven't seen this many barbs in a raging barbs game in a long time. Maybe I just happen to be where the barbs are, who know?

Ok, I just got and played and sent my turn before I left. I now have 22 longbowman outside my cities! These barbs are just crazy in this game.

BTW, there are no longer 22 barb longbowmen outside my cities, but there still are quite a few. At least my pikemen are elite now.
