C3C PBEM : AoD based on the Age of Discovery scenario

Ok, I am not getting updates to this thread either, highly annoying..

I'll be happy to play two civs, but I don't know how to do it without letting them cooperate? Is that ok with you guys? If not, perhaps I should just have one of them otherwise..

OK some delay here. Sorry for that.
To keep you informed, the reasons are :

- the Grognards (Napoleonic) PBEM has some troubles starting so I focus on it before trying to start this one.
- I got some mail issues with Steph who was supposed to position the Cebola cities

and a change Ironduck won't play Iroquois and Incas which will be AI-based exceptif someone steps forward to give us European powers some real trouble...

Game sent back to Loulong.

Geez! You would think the scenario designers would have given the native civs some developed squares. Those civs DID know about agriculture and how to build roads, you know! :p

Trun 2 up and running !

RJ don't complain too much, you have been beefed up a lot, provided you do get money to support your troops quickly enough. You should be able to get quite a few barbarian workers with your troops.

I sent the save yesterday to DeceasedHorse but today I got a message saying my e-mail was kicked back for unknown reasons. I don't know if you got the save or not so I'm going to post it here. Let me know if you get this or already got it.

Well, to be more specific: Originally sent Monday (no Acknowledgement), and then again on Wednesday. (no ack again)
I'll post the save below:

Either did not get it or overlooked it (but twice does not seem possible).
Got it, played it and sent it to EliitMees. Don't expect it too soon though as Portuga plays after EliitMees and he is away until the 25th.

I am going out of town Saturday afternoon and will be back Sunday evening. Times are east coast USA. Have a good weekend.

But I'm pretty sure I will be back before the save gets back to my anyway.

New century reached. To celebrate the Spanish King will organize a wonderful fiesta payed by, or says the rumor, by treasures found in North America and that will be soon brought back to our marvellous kingdom. And the rumor says as well there are up to 6 more of these treasures. They would be called "the cities of Cebola".

On a more general note : I wrote at the beginning map trading should be disabled. Well I made two mistakes : 1/ I did not disable it in the editor 2/ got Aztec map in exchange for, well, "something". So since I don't want anybody to be penalized and that it is possible in game, I consider maptrading is kind of allowed de facto .

hmm, that's a good thing to know now. Wish I had gotten the Iroquois map before one of the Eurpoean weenies got them to declare war on me.

Such a bad European weenie !!
(at least if it can make you feel better I haven't exchanged maps with Iroquois, at least before informing everyone else).
