C3C PBEM : Arcole - Napoleonic scenario-based PBEM

In late breaking news, the war hungry monk won a second term from the ottoman people. After make some strange speeches linking Austria to Weapons of Mass Destruction (opera), he mobolized enough of his country to attack the evil source of the Screeching. The good news for his countrymen was that the monk had previously reestablished ties with the great church of Russia. This will lead to many a sore head and sleepless nights for the perpetrators of this opera upon the good and free people of the world. Plus the Ottomans are making the world safe for republics everywhere.
A golden age of prosperity is expected to vindicate the great leader of the Ottomans shortly.

Turn November 1802 dispatched to London. French citizens are preoccupied with wild celebration of their great victory under Caen where 13 British batallions of infantry and cavalry gave their life for their king. Hope that these celebrations would not distract French troops from defending on four (!!!!) fronts.

Actually, French mathematicians have calculated that owning these 2 cities (which can be hardly considered productive) must greatly increase overall corruption in the oversized British Empire due to rank corruption since these cities are rather close to London. As long as the former French citizens agree to continue sabotage there, they are just considered heroes of the underground war! It has been also noticed that corruption in the Southern France has been somewhat decreased after the capture of these 2 cities. Apparently French citizens there decided it is time to wake up from constant consumption of wines and do something useful for their country! So, actually, there is always something positive to find in almost anything bad. You can have these 2 cities for the time being.

News from St. Petersburg:

Things at the palace have gotten ugly. Tsar Rcoutme has been overthrown. Tsar Rcoutme II has been crowned in his place.

Apparently things had been going wrong for months. Rcoutme Jr., the eldest son of the late Tsar, has been educated by the conservative monk, Vladimir Cheverdonskinkikivsk. Evidently, Vlad the Mad is not too keen on anyone he consideres to be an ‘infidel’ and that includes anyone who does not accept Jesus Christ as a savior. Anybody else is redeemable in his book. Rcoutme Jr. seems to subscribe to the same philosophy. Vlad the Mad also seems to be a stickler on keeping promises to those with whom you make them, so long as they are also Christian.

Well…it seems that Tsar Rcoutme had planned to RoP rape Sweden months ago, and Rcoutme Jr. found out about this. Rcoutme Jr. was none too happy, but figured that he could live with this. Then he found out that his father had made an alliance with the Muslim (and therefore infidel) Ottoman ruler, Romeothemonk, against the Christian Austrians and that pushed him over the edge. Rcoutme Jr. had his father arrested, disemboweled, shot, hanged by his own entrails, burned whilst hanging and then buried in the family plot with a large monument with the words “To a loving father, may he rest in peace” written on it. Most of the populace seems to have taken the current events in stride, happy that they were not the ones upon whose wrath Rcoutme Jr. and Vlad the Mad unleashed their tirade.

Tsar Rcoutme II has announced that he is immediately reversing any treaties signed with the Ottomans and joining the Austrians in their noble cause to rid the European continent of infidels once and for all time. He sends forth the call to arms and requests that all countrymen support with taxes and labor the effort to defeat the menace that threatens all Christians throughout Europe.
