C3C PBEM : Grognards - Napoleonic scenario-based PBEM

Might be post it here since my GPS bounced from El_OSO's e-mail.

Anyhow, turn received and sent to Moscow. Austrian military has liberated Vilno from the Russians this turn. But Sibiu and Koenigsberg are under heavy siege. Also there is a huge stack of Russian troops on the border near Kiev. Looks scary.

Don't be scared. They are peacefull tourists

France is down to being a One City Empire now. Skagen was captured with no resistance by the British.

Against the Spanish: After a massive Artillery barrage, the valorious Household Cavalry went to work against a defensive stack of Spanish in the Mountains.
3 Muskets killed. 7 Soldadas (Most conscripts) killed, 5 Cannon captured.
2 Household Cavalry lost.

New turn started

Man, red should be popular as a cloth color this year. It is all over Northern Spain.

RJ : they never taught you in school that attacking someone so much weaker than you is actually unfair ! ;-)

It seems Napoleon doesn't want to retire to a nice chateau on Corsica...

The game crashes whenever I capture Oslo (The last French city.)
We could try:
1.) Everyone cancel any outstanding agreements with the French next turn (especially MAs, ROP, or MPP) and try it again.
2.) Have Dogboy resign honorably next turn. The game still might crash on us though. Oslo would be razed, which wouldn't be very cool for me, but in the interest of continuing the game, I could live with it.
3.) The French live on in a peaceful state. (Dogboy wouldn't like it, I'll warrant!) (I know I don't, because I have upset French citizens in my conquered cities...

Does it crash before you get to option of keeping or razing? You might try to raze the city instead. Or may be indeed Napoleon can commit suicide then for the sake of continuing the game?

I went ahead and replayed my last turn and retired my civ and sent the game to RJ. Hope this fixes the problem.

Well, I've already played my turn, and I think Loulong played his turn also. In the interest not replaying things and getting different results, we probably should go one more round with you and then you retire next turn?
Thanks for the effort, and the confirmation that the game won't blow up when you retire...
