C3C PBEM : Grognards - Napoleonic scenario-based PBEM

Yep. Last turn I saw was Mar, 1803, But I have it done as having played on 7/26. Since Akots plays after me, something doesn't seem right. Anyway, I did play it and sent it on to Loulong way back then. I can't seem to find an ACK from him, so I'm sending it again.

I got it (and posted about it in the thread). Reforwarded to el_Oso who had some mail-troubles (maybe at that time), or maybe it is Cesarian (hope not).

I'm the last player in the turn and when I save the file, it is the next turn which is then started by Eliit. Can enjoy the observation of the goto orders. So, everything seems to be OK with that. :)

Ed sent this same turn on to me today. I had already sent this turn onto Loulong, who had already confirmed he played that turn, so it is definitely after Loulong where the problem lies.

The problem has been figured out and the game of March-1803 played. Then, the game May-1803 was sent to Prussia. I would again try to remind that sending battle logs would be very nice. :)

It is polite behavior IMvHO. We are not some stupid AI after all.

The Spanish frontier guards are preparing welcoming vodkas for their Russian friends who could be at our gates quite soon apparently.

No, I just thought you would come visiting and sunshining.

New turn started (May 1803).

edit : seems to be a pb with el_Oso's mail so I post the save here.

I don't understand why France is also picking poor Prussia's corpse. It seems they have much more dangerous problems close to home!

My comp is ****ed up real bad...so i will be formating it soon........so i will be unabal to play civ for the next 2 to 3 days( i have a bizy week sorry)...if worst comes to worst i should be abal to play come monday......sorry.

Prussian territory cut in 4 parts with the capture of Leipzigrad by Russian Cossacks. Poor Prussian conscripts cannot stand the permanent flow of Russian Cossacks and their hit / withdraw / rest tactics. Always fresh troops are coming.

Yep, must agree with our Royal relative King of England and etc. and Great Britain. Recently, Napoleon has not been apparently sober while dispatching orders to his troops. Three poor Austrian grenzers wanted to take a walk in the vicinity of Milan and accidentally crossed the river and appeared near Turin. The innocent folks were mercilessly slaughtered apparently by angry French infantry. No battle report has been presented. So, I assume they guys were just killed because they are not understanding French very well hence could not reveal their identity apart from being dressed in the uniform. :)

Indeed, while investigating the area, our glorious Hussars have found that French infantry and killed them in return.

Seriously, behavior of Napoleon does not make sense at all. His army is losing cities to Britain and France instead of fighting back tried to attack our pitiful force as well as Prussia. In chess, this is called co-operative game. When one side succumbs to another by a pre-negotiated mechanism.

@Napoleon: Are you a friend of Britain of their enemy? Why you help them so much to win the game?

Eh now! You're selling the British a bit short, aren't you? The valor of our Household Cavalry troops have resulted in devastating charges and great gains in France. If Napoleon had kept his troops home, the results would have been the same, with just a few more losses on both sides. To accuse France of throwing the war dishonors all the fallen on both sides!

On a side note...This game is stalled again?????
How about calling it a victory for England and Russia and burying this sucker (deeply)?

Looks like the game is stalled. I have already played May-1803 and sent to Eliit to start July-1803 turn. I will attach the file to this post, just in case.

If somebody is confused over which turns they played and which the did not, I suggest creating a spreadsheet in Excel for the purpose of recordkeeping and storing all the save files. :)
