Well If I can make sense of this Soap Opera...I see Quarly played his turn on Jan 29th. That means it should be my (Prussia) turn. However..I do not have the save. So Q...could you please send it to me?
I won't be able to play my turn until Sunday.
And on a side note...Changing alliances in Civ3 like in human life...is unpredictable. I think things have gotten too personal for all parties. I've always thought that an agreed upon alliance lasts not for 20 turns but for as long as it remains useful to one's strategy of winning the game...the GAME. I think it is a mistake to transfer game play behavior and make it personal. Now I think its fair to say..that beware that Player X breaks agreements when playing Civ. But to me that just means...Buyer or in this case Player Beware. That's fair. Personally..I've always thought of alliances as being....fluid!!
Now I also may have a different spin on this...how much more interesting has this game been and become based upon what has happened?? Think about all the Diplomatic moves that has resulted?? This game took a monumental change in play. Is that a bad thing?
I think its time for; a time out...a group hug...and I'll begin as the most maligned side of all...I forgive all of you that have defeated the once proud people of Prussia! I forgive the dastardly, cowardly, and unprovoked sneak attacks against Prussia. I forgive you for all the brave and innocent victims of rape and pillage...I forgive........hell I don't forgive anyone!!!
