Battle for Iconium
We again bombarded Iconium with catapult causing minor injuries to 7 Hoplites.
This time we followed up the bombardment with an attack on the defenders of the city with 22 Heavy Cavalry, 2 Archers and 3 Immortals.
The Macedonians lost 14 Hoplites but managed to retain control of the city.
Persian loses were 8 Heavy Cavalry, 1 Archer and 1 immortal. The remainder of the attacking force suffered severe injuries but survived the battle.

Japanese forces eliminated the commonwealth shipping and swept into Singapore ... Oh wait, wrong PBEM... Carthage destroyed the Roman legions approaching our invasion port in southern Rome. Takeover of the rest of the Roman peninsula delayed due to bad weather.

Killed one Heavy Cavalry in the scorched lands north of Italia. Sending forces to deal with the carthaginian infestation in souther Italia. Destroyed one pocket of Celtic resistance on the Rivieara north west of Italia. legoins deployed to continue the mop up actions along with Hadrian and his men.

We used one cavalry, and 2 armies of cavalries in the attack.

Some macedonians decided to visit the northern persian cities.

These Macedonians are becoming a nuisance. It is time we got serious and dealt with them.
The Macedonian force that landed next to Trapezus was attacked by a Heavy Cavalry and 2 Immortals. The Macedonians lost a Hoplite and 2 Heavy Cavalry while our forces suffered injuries but no loses.
The other Macedonian invading force contained 8 units while our city only had 1 Spearman defending it. The city was ordered abandoned rather than give the Macedonians a base of operations.
We are not happy with this situation.

We lost one cavalry and 4 hoplites.

A bit to the south, in the sea, we sunk 3 persian galleys, but lost 4 in the battle.
