A FT damaged an SNLF (2/4) on the island east of Rabaul.

An IJN PT boat was sunk by a dive bomber and torpedo bomber outside Davao. The airfield on the island was abandoned and destroyed by naval bombardment.

A damaged SNLF on Sulawesi was redlined by a dive bomber then killed by US Infantry (3/4). A second SNLF was redlined after being shelled by a BB and CA.

Three dive bombers attacked Cebu. One was shot down by an interceptor. The second shot down the damaged interceptor. The third missed its target.

Guys, Just aheads up...I live in Abilene, Tx USA. We are looking at an Ice Storm over the next 3 days. Its uncertain how much we will get. But these types of winter storms cause chaos with power outages as ice laden power lines break and tree limbs break off and down power lines. With that said...it could be that I can lose power sometime from tonight through the next 3 days. It is going to hit..no doubt about it. The day started out at 64 F and now is 34 F!!! So we will see. If the save is sent to me and no reply that I got it within 8 hours will mean..I've lost power. I'll keep you posted.

How did the ice storm go? It arrived here Monday night around
3am with freezing rain which turned to ice pellets and then to snow.
Then it got cold: down to -14C this morning.

- Lost a DD after it rammed into an I-Boat near Menado. A CA was sent in and sunk it.

- American aircraft attacked the Japanese fleet outside Cebu.
BB Haruna is hit by a heavy bomber for two damage.
An SBD dive bomber attacks the stricken ship but is shot down.
A second dive bomber finishes off the job, sinking BB Haruna.
A heavy bomber was shot down by a zero while attacking an ASW DD.

- Two DDs shelled the SNLF fortified on the island near Rabaul, doing one damage. Two national guard units attacked but both were killed! The SNLF was left at 2/5.

Hi Guys! What a bizarre two weeks of weather in West Central Texas. Had a pretty good ice storm on MLK Holiday. Then another lesser ice storm this past weekend. Then today we had some ice pellets. Funny thing is that the weather has been worse SOUTH of Abilene.
Now Eric...Ice Pellets??? You call yourself Canadian??? Should be...Ice Boulders!!!!

Anyhow to the turn...

Hey, where did the Magellan's Voyage Wonder go? I thought it was in Ragoon...

Actually the Wonder was one of the reasons for me to attack Ragoon.

It's been renamed the Moulmein Pagoda (from the poem "Mandalay"
by R. Kipling) and it's only in the single player version. It's there to
keep the AI from razing the city.

- Sarawak was bombed by two heavy bombers. One hit the oil colony and damaged troops stationed there. The other hit the town itself and destroyed its commercial docks.

- An FT shelled the SNLF east of Rabaul again, doing one damage.

- BB Ise was sighted west of Cebu. SBS dive bombers were dispatched. The first two quickly scored hits and sent the BB under!

China:
The shame and humiliation of the Imperial Army in the
the eyes of the Emperor was nearly unbearable when it
became know that Lanchow had been captured by communist
guerillas. The city has now been recaptured by an inf div,
one guerilla killed.

Chengdu:
Walls destroyed, 2 units damaged by artillery.
2 Chinese inf killed by the 16th and 24th corps.

Hanoi:
Fortress division and inf damaged by Naval bombard.

South China Sea
One of our ASW destroyers detected a US sub 4 tiles
W of Cebu. Sub was bombed by kates and bettys and finshed
of by BC Mikasa 5/6.

Phillipines:
US para S of Cebu killed by Marine div
US PT boat sunk by Val 5T NE of Manilla

East of Palau:
I-boat torpedos CV Saratoga, Saratoga sunk; I-boat 2/4

The failed Davao operation, although we were able
to force the US out of the airbase on the north side
of the island, the city was reinforced by US marines
and we had to withdraw.
