An aggressive turn for the Americans.

Java Sea:
- BB North Carolina and DD Barney shell CA Ashigara for 1 damage each.
- BB New Mexico goes in for the kill!
New Mexico 4/4 vs Ashigara 3/5; New Mexico 1/4, Ashigara 0/5.
- CA Northampton sunk the other IJN ship (forgot to check what it was).
CA Northampton 3/5 (took 1 damage).
- 4 dive bombers, a CA and 2 DD's attack Soerabaja, redlining a BC(?) and invasion fleet.

South Pacific:
- US Marine corp assults Guadalcanal!
MC 11/11 vs Jap Inf 5/5, MC 11/11, Jap Inf 0/5.
MC 11/11 vs SNLF 4/4, MC 11/12 (promoted), SNLF 0/4.
The island is liberated and a zero destroyed on the ground.

The Waters Off Japan:
- The USN uses its new support fleet to chase down the IJN stragglers!
BB Mutsu is hit by a dive bomber for 1 damage, then sunk by BB California (using bombardment).
BB Oklahoma shelled BC Mikasa for 1 damage.
2 dive bombers redlined DD Akigumo and the transport it was escorting. The two ships are sunk by BB's Maryland and Tenesse.

Out in the Indian Ocean due east of Batavia, I-69 runs into
an unknown submarine and sinks it.

China:
Air and artillery bombardment reduces KMT corp in Sian to 7/15 then
the North China corp attacks and kills it.
1 Chinese inf div destroyed by Nip. Inf south of Hankow
2 Chinese inf divs destroyed by Corp south of Changsha
Chihkiang to Changsha road cut by light tank brigade

South East of Japan:
IJN DD attacks BB Okalahoma but fails and is sunk.
BC Mikasa attacks BB Okalahoma and sinks it, gets promoted to elite.

- CA Kumano sunk by 2 torpedo bombers and a dive bomber.
- BB Ise was attacked by a torpedo bomber but took no damage.
- Likewise, DD North Carolina shelled DD Amatsukaze but missed.
- CA Louisville attacks DD Amatsukaze.
Louisville 3/4 vs Amatsukaze 4/6; Louisville 2/5 (promoted), Amatsukaze 0/6.
- CA Northhampton attacks an IJN DD.
Northhampton 3/5 vs DD 3/5; Northhampton 3/5, DD 0/5.
- DD Dahlgren attacks CL Nagara.

East of Java:

- Three dive bombers attacked Soerabaja, only managing to damage a couple of planes on the ground.

- A heavy bomber hit Sarawak causing no damage, and Menado destroying a granary.

North Pacific:

- CA Vincennes and four destroyers shelled Rabaul, causing six damage to the defenders.

- US Marines captured Rabaul, killing two defending units with few losses.

Edit: I suppose this is North Pacific, not South Pacific.

Soerabaja was bombed by RAF. 1 ship sunk and 2 planes destroyed.


Note for future improvements:
CW does not seem to be able to re-base Heavy bombers from Canada to any other area, so there are just there waiting for the Japanese invasion of America!

One Corps is destroyed at the cost of a Chinese Cavalry Division. The other two Corps are reduced to 3 HP each!

No loses, Batavia still holding out.

Also on Java, dive bomber redlines CW inf.

North of Timor:
DD Hayashio attacks DD Barney, Barney sunk, Hayashio redlined.

Near Mandalay:
Nip. Inf Brigade kills CW militia

Hue:
Amphib attack by marine div recaptures city, CW cav killed.

China:
Ichang falls, Chinese inf killed by marine div
1 cannon killed by cav
1 cannon killed by 22nd inf div
Chinese inf NW of city damaged by zero.
