Sorry for the delay, this game is getting so depressing I would like to resign
If that is OK with you guys.

On this turn:
Damaged the CA Northampton 3/5 with artillery on Formosa

3 Guerillas killed in Lanchow, city recaptured

1 Guerilla killed near Harbin

Sank US ASW DD near Iwo Jima but lost a CA in the process,
A DD (4/5) finished it off

Hey Eric, I'll play my next turn just to see what I can do, but I think it's a fair move to resign at this point. Otherwise it was just going to be a city-by-city slog (a fun one, for us, but still... :p)

All up it was a lot of fun!

Even though Japan is ahead in VP's, without resources I don't think there is much it can do, besides delaying the unavoidable. Off course it could use it's still impressive force (Armies) to get one or two symbolic victories but in the end, I don't think it could resist the Allies.

I must say that I was suprise to see Japan last for so long without capitulating. If it was me, I would have thrown in the towel some time ago.

Eric, thank you for your commitment to the game, even in the frustrating moments that lately fell over Japan.

I enjoyed the game! :)

Thanks for the kind words. Even though I am still ahead by about 15,000, with number of turns left in the game the Allies will be able to close the VP gap easily. My biggest problem in this game was lack of oil.

Forgot all about this. Last US turn, just showing off. :P

Formosa held out with a single redlined artillery.
