Hi
Viceroy is too easy, is there any way to mod the files to make the game much harder? Preferably by giving other AI player+ indians bonuses. Just adding more TORY forces is boring, it just makes the game longer (keep building troops until you have an redicoulous amount)

Thanks and happy new year
Erik

I don't know of any mods that would help with this. If you are consistently beating the game at Viceroy with no reloads than you might have to manufacture your own challenges such as playing OCC.

but one city challenge doesnt make the game harder, only longer basically. I just keep my one town, wait more for rebel sentiment to go up and eventually i have enough soldiers to beat the king.

Competition still doesnt do anything to threaten me... I want to buff AI economy etc so they have more forces, gold and are more agressive.

You can edit the game file to give the computer bonuses and also bonuses for yourself. For example, reducing the base cost of buildings, artillery, trained people in Europe etc from the game file. It would be possible to give indian warriors 5+ attack. I have done this before and it takes Europeans a much longer amount of time to get settled and favours France.

Just looked for this - it can be found under "names" in the coloization folder. You can change the comparitive attack and movement values for Indian units, for example, giving all braves 2 strengh as opposed to 1, and so on; and also increase cost of products and buildings etc.
