Just starting playing again after a few months break and I'm encountering lots of random crashes. Crashes during loading. Crashes during gameplay, even after just a few minutes of gameplay. By turn 34, I quit playing in frustration because I crashed at least a dozen times.
This is surprising because when I first bought the game, I rarely had any crashes at all.
The main difference is that I installed a bunch of highly recommended mods. I installed them using the built-in mod manager.
Can mods conflict with each other (and the game) and cause crashes?
