can\'t connect to website

hey guys,

i just got home last night, and whenever i try connecting to
www.civfanatics.com

my connection times out. I have no idea what\'s going on, this is only happening from my home computer, i can connect from anywhere else. right now i am connecting via a proxy.

did i do something wrong? is my ip being banned? in cmd i ping the website and it\'s ip, and i get no connection...

please lemme kno, as i\'m not a fan of proxy browsing.

no i haven\'t tried other DNS servers.
i\'m not quite sure waht you mean. can you give me an example of what I could try?

what is weird is that i just got to my university right now, andi also cannot access civfanatics from there either. the website keeps on timing out.

mind you, my internet access in general is superb, i can visit other sites, it just seems that i can\'t connect to here unless im behind a proxy.

i tried connecting directly to the ip of the site directly: 208.111.158.15 but no such luck either.

i\'m confused and i don\'t know what\'s going on. furthermore, as i have some succession games going on, it would be nice to be able to connect to the site directly.

might it be that i hit refresh one too many times and the site is autoblocking me cuz of some cookies?
