Cannot access saved game

My machine reboots as soon as I click on a unit or hit enter for new turn. Game runs ok else. Have a dell 8600 with radeon card. Does anybody else have this problem?

Yes. I have a similar problem. It won't load up any of the files that are 100KB or greater, it reboots. I have an Athlon 1.3 GHz processor, 128 MEG redeon 9200 with over 750+ MEG of ram. With the exception of my processor I meet the recomended requirment.
I was pissed! cause i just got the game , got all geeked up, played till 3:00 am and couldn't load up the save the next day. That sucked.
This is what i have tried. I loaded up a smaller file, than reloaded a bigger file and by the third try i loaded up my latest.
This worked for me, but as u can imagine it is a bit of a pain. If anyone has a more efficient answer, by all means .... Thanks ahead.

I have found a peculiar method that helps some. At end of each turn I leave one unit unmoved but with the green/white ring flashing around it. It seems that when no more units are to move there is a problem with reload. I expected more from these developers. It is 2005.

Have u downloaded the latest video driver?

Not sure. I have messed with different drivers on my system. Currently it is ATI Omega 2.6.75a. Another tread suggested use an old driver (4.12?) but when i did that all hell broke lose in this machine. Could not see a thing clearly!
