Can't continue after 2050AD!!

I've got a problem with CIVIII (1.29f)

I can't continue the game after 2050 AD..a windows appears saying that I won the game but it doesn't give me the option "play a few more turns" (or better it appears but I can't click on it)!!! the only thing I can do is click the OK button, and it pushes me back to the main menu!!

I've got a P4 1.3Gh with a radeon 9500pro (catalyst 3.9) and a soundblaster Audigy player (latest drivers)

any ideas?

Tha games mandatory retirement date is 2050 - so you can't play past that year!

However, you should go to the Creation/Customization forums, and search for the Civilization Multi-Tool! It contains a savegame editor that enables you to change the mandatory retirement date

Get the editor, load up your 2049 savegame, set the retirement date to whatever you'd like - and voila

IIRC, you can play after 2050, its just that no more score gets recorded. Normally when you win the game, it goes through the victory screens then comes back to your game and asks you if you want to keep playing for a few turns. From quake's post, this isn't happening.

Or get conquests there is an option there to change the amount of turns from the 0 up to 1000 (Normaly 540)
