Can't read Civ4 manual

Subject: Need help finding complete manual

I cannot find/download the complete version of the manual for Civilization IV Gold Edition. The game came with an abridged version of the manual and said the complete version was on Disk 3. However, Disk 3 contains a data file that cannot be opened/viewed, and I cannot find a fan site that has a downloadable file of the manual. Now, I admit that the abridged manual does help get you up and running, but I'll the kind of person who likes to know all of the ins and outs of a game that it's possible to know, so I desperately need a complete version of the manual to do so.

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.

You can not download copyrighted material, however, you can contact the publisher and request a manual.

Also, it sounds as if you do have the manual, but you can't access the file. What is the file extension? You may just need a viewer to open the file. Secondly, there's a lot more info in the forums than what would be in the manual.
