2104: The Flowing of the Rivers
Of Blood, Sweat, Tears, and Oil
Egypt Struck Gold!
Black gold that is. Oil has been found in enormous quantities in the Sinai Desert, on the Egyptian side of course. These reserves are at LEAST the size of American ones, and Egypt has got cracking on harvesting this oil. (OOC: Oil is still used for 30% of the energy, and 80% for car fuel, as welll as other uses) This amount of oil was quickly shipped to America and several other countries, in which their need was quenched, and Egypt got rolling in the dough. Egypt may as well be the only reliable source of oil, since the UAP has gone hostile.

CA's Disaster and Triumph: The War of French Aggression
The CA has entered the fray with the EU against France. The war is slowing down, as numerous assaults clashing with eachother going into stalemates. The Germans achieved a breakthrough to the south of their initial expansion, but failed to break anything else. The French achieved a great reversal of Italian expansion. They managed to recapture all of southern France, and captured Turin and part of Sicily. In Luxemborgia, they successfully captured Amsterdam, leaving Luxemborgia in an extremely weak position. Evacuations into Germany have begun, although a few have entered Denmark and Scandinavia. The CA landed in Normandy, although the GUK DID NOT allow access to their ports. It was a reenactment of D-Day, only that the CA was held up on all fronts. They managed to capture Cherbourg, and a few beachheads, but were stalled by determined French forces. French bombers bombed Germany in extreme force, as the German air defenses weren't prepared. These victories have lead to increased confidence in France, but some areas have broken away after increased resistance...

The Fall of the United States
Rebellions, Increased Security, Closing of Major Transportation Routes, and other various security measures have led to a police state-like country. People do not seem to mind about that though, they are more concerned about economy, which was affected by these security measures. Businesses have failed overseas, since US ports have closed. Trade was restricted, the only thing accepted was Egyptian oil vessels. Stocks fell on Wall Street. Food stores were rotting. millions of people, jobless, and a few thousand, homeless. To matters worse, the Eye of God attacked the farms, burning much of the grain fields and sowing the fields with salt on the Fourth of July. Then, they murdered several families in the Midwest. However, these members were quickly found, and arrested. Although they killed themselves, they had documents revealing a plot to overthrow the government, although it didn't say exactly how. Also, the Senate has decided on electing a new president. It will only be a matter of deciding WHO.
Candidates:
Harold Mendel (Security Party, Californian governor, rooted out crime, helped economy, receiver of the Medal of Honor)
Alexander Peacock (Republican, Iowa Senator, helped farmers during WW3, started several industries, receiver of six Purple Hearts and a few Bronze Stars)
Marco Barnop (Democrat, helped to root out corruption, led a raid on the American Mafia, served as a justice in the Supreme Court)
Cissy Florena (Democrat, led women's rights, helped anti-discrimination laws pass, Senator of Florida)
Johnny Zanzibar (Republican, retired WW3 four-star general, led the Asian front)
Norman Miller (Environmentalist Party, helped pass mandatory recycling in all cities, leader of the Anti-Oil league, rooted out corrupted representatives, served as Head of the EPA)
(USA: +8% Dissent, Cannot Spend Eco this turn, USA will need to choose one of the above candidates)
Spain: African Liberator or Ruthless Imperialist?
Spain has begun to withdraw from the former UAPF areas, returning Algeria to the NAU, but Tunis and the Strait of Gibraltar still are occupied. The remaining troops have begun an offense on the remaining parts of the UAPF. However, due to how far deep in Africa they are, only a few skirmishes occured. Most of the withdrawn troops have gone to help Israel, in a pincer move via Egypt and the Red Sea. Ultimately, they had to dig in, as the UAP quickly sent their reserves to meet Spanish forces.

The South American War Continues
The SAPF has achieved a breakthrough in Peru, again. The SAF has begun a general retreat, as their forces are spread too thin. For example, the Andes only had 100 infantry protecting it before they withdrew! Also, the SAPF have begun propaganda, which has led to some dissent, although no rebellions have risen, yet...

The Second Russo-Japanese War!
Japan declared war on Russia after attacks on trading and fishing vessels. The Japanese landed on Sakhalin Island, quickly capturing it. Next, they advanced upwards in Kamchatka. The rest of UFAR has not yet declared war on Russia, but they might be dragged in, if the war goes sour. Japan's technology has been useful, and it will announce its major project shortly...
