I have given orders for the Warrior currently at Zojoji to be upgraded as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

Given that we have over 150 gold right now, we can probably make 1 more withdrawl. We can either use some more cash to upgrade warriors recalled from exploration, or we can establish an Embassy with Babylon (30 Gold).

For this time only, these expendature options will not be impacted by any trade deals which might go down.

It is the opinion of the Domestic Minister to save the money for upgrades, pending the ultimate location of the Babylonian Settler pair. (If they try to get our Gems, then an Embassy is pointless...)

Some Discussion has taken place in the latter portion of this thread.

Poll to remain open until 1 hour before Turnchat. In the case of a tie, Deputy Noldodan (or the DP if Noldodan is not there) breaks the tie.

Sorry for my inexperience, but what exactly would the warrior be upgraded into at this stage of the game?

The Warrior would be upgraded to a Swordsman. I think the cost would be 30 Gold at this point, but am unsure. I caanot chek at this time because to check would require some "irreversible" moves.

Warrior to Swordsman upgrade is 40g in PTW Emperor, but I believe it is the same in Vanilla too. Either way, bring on the Mighty Swordsmen! :ninja:

Bingo! Warrior upgrade is 40g in Vanilla. We need to increase our military as we are now average compared to everyone, including the Iro's we're warring with. A couple of Sworsmen may get them to back off.

Talk about a landslide...

I should have looked at the results first, and then voted embassy just to be different, but no I felt I had to vote what I thought should have be done, instead. Now, I'm just a part of the masses.

I believe we need to upgrade, beacuse we need it to deter any aggression like from the Iroqs and the Romans.

I chose upgrading. I wasn't planning to build another embassy this turn because I know we're about to get swordsmen and we need to upgrade our warriors (hence the lack of a new poll for embassies). Once the coffers are abundant and once our gold income isn't negative a new embassy will be built.
