64-bit would be mindblowing... (Or anything with the same result, like multiple processes.)I think we have an amazing future still to come that should be absolutely fantastically mindblowing.

Stop making me angry at Civ's owner-goblins, lol.64-bit would be mindblowing... (Or anything with the same result, like multiple processes.)
Funny, because CK3 is both extremely heavily modded (with literal Paradox support), extremely DLC'd, rather expensive, and still quite popular - all at once.Eh, I wouldn't say that. There aren't that many players who would want to play a game with the length and complexity of C2C, let alone spend hundreds of moneys on DLCs for it. I mean that's basically Paradox's business model and they make it work, but I think it's fair to say their grand strategy games aren't as successful as Civ. And C2C is even bigger than a paradox game.

...And isn't leading anywhere so far. Le sigh.all jokes aside, the encouragement is real.
More than you think. Some things must be done in the quiet shadows before they can be brought to light....And isn't leading anywhere so far. Le sigh.
Ho-ho-HO?!More than you think. Some things must be done in the quiet shadows before they can be brought to light.

Not exactly a 'coming soon' kind of thing. But there are things shaping up.Ho-ho-HO?!![]()
I'll probably create some guides and mini-courses to help teach stuff at some point. It's pretty much what I'm doing professionally at this point.Latest Saved Game!!! Just so you all know what my preferences are how many mistakes I make and how much I need to learn!!! Could there be a CIV/C2C school for High School seniors and College Students?? I am almost 59 and wish I was 17 again!!! GO C2C!!!
What are you exactly complaining about? Getting too much tech from being way behind the vassal? In fact, why did you GET tech this way? I'm surprised it works this way to begin with. But I don't think I've ever been join-merged by someone who was AHEAD of me (at all) in the first place, so I don't have an opinion on whether it's intended altogether.I had a peace vassal merge with me, and they gave me nearly an entire era of tech advancement. Is that working as intended? I wouldn't have designed it that way. I would have preferred to progress at snail's pace through frigates, arquebuses etc., not skip them altogether.

That's not what I'm asking about.View attachment 689308
Everyone except Greece is way behind me in power, but some of the weaker ones WERE ahead in tech.
I would expect to get a contribution towards some or many techs. Like capturing one or more cities. Not to be instantly catapulted from mid-late Renaissance to early-mid Industrial.
