CCTP Working Version Progress

Vixenus, serio przetłumaczyłeś jakąś wcześniejszą wersję? Wielka kurde szkoda, że nic o tym nie wiedziałem.
 
Nie była jakoś szerzej publikowana, była nie najgorsza, ale jeszcze dużo pracy było ;) Teraz przy nowej wersji ruszę pełną parą :)

Each policiy got there discription, so you see what effects the game, only the names are missing and only in some places.
 
oh, ok. In that case, i'll waiting for Neo (why Neo? :p)

Because its a complete rework of the last CCTP Version.

The changes are so big and for some secret:eek: reasons the codename was Neo:D
 
Community Call to Power v405 (Neo)


Ok the time has come for the first test run of CCTP Neo.
In a few hours the test version will be avaible.

Some notes about Neo:

*Many new Technologies miss some text entries, but the help entries are done.
So that you should know what a Technology do and what not.
The Text for the Technologies is also still under work and will be finished sooon.

*The same count for some Policies and Buildings/Wonders. It could be that some entries arent 100% right.
This will also be changed soon.

*Manpower and Elelctricity are expanded and the balancing isnt finish yet.

*Currently the loading time is increased, this is ether a result from the TechnologyPrerequest or the fact that so many new features are implented.
With some time we will fix this, but other points need to come first.

*The main reason for a public test version is the balance at all.
Well, the game should be balanced up to the Modern Era, from this point it could be that some parts need a buff.

*So like i said some parts are missing and not all new features are yet activated.
But for a test version this should be enough. We need feedback and suggestions before we can clean up this version.

*Very important you will need DLC1 - DLC7, Expansion1 , Expansion2 and Shared Expansion to play this version of CCTP:

Ok what more, oh yes some Icons are also underwork and will be changed in the next time.
Like always i would suggest you play with Whowards Dll mod /IGE and for compatibility, please test CCTP Neo not with other mods.

We need help with many text entries, for example strategy and help textes are missing in some places or are not finished.

Also many names are just placeholders, so if you find f.e. a buildings with Neo in its name, then you should know thats a placeholder, the same count for Policies with a number.

What we really need to know is the pathing of the game. If i would start the testing in private, it would take at least some weeks to make some progress.
My main problem is i cant put the mod down:crazyeye: Every time i play i find something and quit the game to start modbuddy and fix it.

So i decided to break on this point, where most of the stuff is implented but not fully incorporated.:lol:
 
Ok Gyogen got the project files, he need to do some changes before he will upload CCTP V405.

This will be only a test version, the chance is high that you may encounter some bugs.

In the case you encounter a bug, please let us know, and we will fix it.


Just a tipp, dont play on decimatus, try the king or prince version. Otherwise it could be very difficult for you.
Also the current version isnt tweaked for marathon games now, so please dont use it)


In a few days we will release a overworked/unbuggy version, but for this we need as much feedback as we can get.

Some minor tweaks and the release is there.
Damn my internet connection is sometimes so slow, that things took endless....
 
With engaged you mean how many people are currently working on CCTP?

Well to be honest its a very small group. Most work is done by Gyogen and hmm Gilga)

If steam would count my SDK (Modbuddy) hours (i managed to use it without steam) it would be more then 200 hours in the last weeks.
 
Just a few notes for the next days.

*When i got some free time, this will prohably this weekend, i will start to fix the missing text entries and to overwork some Text files at all.
*Balance some minor problems, like the starting year and the pathing.
*Rework some modern wonders.
*Also i will try to include the Religions grant buildings lua tool from Machiavelli.
With this nice feature we can grant buildings to cities that own a religion or pantheon.
This is something i really would like to include, for many reasons, like the ability to build some wonders only if you adopted the right religion.
This would also help with the outrunning of pantheons, that are reported, we still have a huge number of perks to choice from, but in the past i stopped adding new ones, because i dont like to create redundant parts at all.
*At least the the hidden policies (totalirism f.e), need some work. In its current state they are implented but not activated.
*Also bug correction and other minor support, that will make CCTP more player friendly.
We have still many issues with some parts, but we are on a good way.

Yeah the look is very nice.
But this version isnt compatible with Brave New World.
A complete rework of the luacode would be needed to include it back into CCTP.

Well i failed on that part, and since no other tried to manage it back, we use the alternative look of the policies.
You should know that with the Expension BNW, firaxis created some [pissed] hardcoded parts for us modders.

Anyway we still have all the icons and images in CCTP incorporated but the needed sql updates arent finished yet.
So when this is done the pictures will show up again, but i doubt that we will see the old stylish Policy look in the near future.

To make this clear, we have now more policies in CCTP then in any former version.
 
Ok i discovered another minor problem, and for this i fixed it.
The Huns have the freetechnology Animal Husbandry, this was a unfair advantage in relation to other Civs.
For now i changed it to Scientence and updated the Trait.text
But since this is a little buff to the Huns we need to give them another bonus.
Iam not sure what would be the best, so if you have any suggestions feel free to post it.

Another point the religions grant buildings mod works....


Edit:
For the Huns maybe a production bonus for training units would fit them, or a free building when conquered a city....

Tomorrow we will release a overworked version of 405.
Several bugs are removed and the crash isssue too.
Some new Beliefs are added and many parts are changed.

Still some missing text entries, but the most database problems are erased.
When iam back from work tomorrow, i will do some other work on CCTP and we can upload the tweaked version.
