Hello everyone,

I made a powerpoint for my neighbors party on my computer. The file is approximately 55 MB, too large for a floppy and very slow to email. I want to burn this file onto a CD; however, I am not to familiar with CD burning. I have the cd burner, the powerpoint, and the cd; but no way to get the powerpoint onto the cd. I am sure I am overlooking something very obvious. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

You need a CD-R disk in the drive. Then you drag the files you want on the cd into the drive forder. Then click right files to CD and follow the wizard.

Alternantly, it is possible to save a file to miltiple floppies.

That was the first thing I tried, yet every blank unused disk I use is considered write-protected by my computer and stops it from copying. This is a Windows ME by the way.

Thanks for the help guys, I got a program called Nero and it worked like a charm. Mods you can now close this.

Just find the little black thingy on the floppy with the lock symbol near it and flip it to the unlocked symbol and it would be un-write protected.
