Here's a simple one for those who have watched a few of the previews: is it possible to rename cities or not?
Seems a shame, a small thing that I always enjoyed, and something that would help the player build their own continuity over the Ages. A slightly puzzling decision imo.According to @Siptah, Writing Bull's video (in German) states that you cannot rename cities.
At very least something they likely won't take long to add for free, but a bummer nonetheless.Seems a shame, a small thing that I always enjoyed, and something that would help the player build their own continuity over the Ages. A slightly puzzling decision imo.
I don't remember the answer but we already know this. It was based on the type, like culture standard buildings all have the same adjacency. And more than one type has the same adjency, so you can have a district with different types of building but only thinking about one way they work location wise. The bonus adjancency of all standard buildings.
And be able to compare unique units and buildings to their original buildings if they exist
In Single Player, the player always pick first. In MP, seems like everyone pick at the same time and duplicates are allowed. Any limitation on MP will be house rules. What determines the order in which players choose their next civ at an age transition?
Thanks for the clarification! In Single Player, the player always pick first. In MP, seems like everyone pick at the same time and duplicates are allowed. Any limitation on MP will be house rules.
Looks like low happiness lowers yields in a settlement by ~2% per (*or* each happiness up or down affects yields by ~1%)What does low/high happiness in a settlement actually do?
Yes, but you can switch back and forth from the specialization to “growing town”, which grows the town with 50% extra food. I’m not sure if there are limitations on when you can switch, but I haven’t heard anything.Does a town really stop growing when you specialize? One of the YouTubers said that and I thought it just grew slower.
It should behave as normal, I think the “no growth” aspect just relates to food growth. I haven’t seen anything suggesting that purchasing buildings would be affected. What happens when you buy a buildiing in a specialized town, as these apparently grow population automatically?
