Maybe others are experiencing this but my installation keeps telling me the wrong cd is in the drive when I clearly put the right one in. I've followed the FAQ and I've even put both cd's in and none of them work. Is there a way to fix this? Is it being worked on? I have a serious addiction going here :crazyeye:

I get that occasionally as well. I've had success right-clicking on the cd-drive in explorer and selecting "Autoplay", then click "Play" on the screen that pops up.

It's weird though, since most of the time the game starts just fine clicking on my desktop shortcut.

The North American version was shipped with the CDs labelled the wrong way around, apparently.

Tried that, it's not working for me. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

I understand that, I read the FAQ. My problem is that None of my CD's work now when the one that used to work several weeks ago did.

After talking to Tech support it was suggested that I might have cd imaging software on my computer. Since I didn't actively seek out such software on the web and the only other software I can think of would be maybe the software that came with my DVD-RW drive (which worked fine with Civ 4 before all of this) my only other thought is that maybe Norton Internet Security/Anti-Virus 2006 and/or Norton System Works 2006 have something that are preventing me from playing Civ 4. Does anybody have either or both of these programs and if so, did you have any problems?
