1. Candi doesn't provide the +1 Food, but the garden does. I tested this using IGE. I don't think this is a bug per se, but an unintended feature which should be fixed.

2. There are a lot of iron and horses around. Is this intended? This seems to be the vanilla map feature.

3. Turn 0 defeat still occurs. But this happens very infrequently so I don't think it is too big of an issue.

2. I didn't see that on my map. I thought the availability was rather sparse - especially for Iron.

Also: On the Diplomacy window, it says you need writing for Embassies, but it's actually Trade.

Do you mean common tiles of iron/horses or the iron/horses are very common resources?

Candi should be fixed yes. All these unique buildings should be getting a pass during the leaders phase to be noted and adjusted.

Something like that (The screenshot was weird..I dont know why I had the right half in my image).

I ran into an ancient ruin that gave me mining on Turn 3. It revealed 8 irons in total, 3 of them in the capital range, and the other 5 not far away. This is in NO way similar to past versions. I could barely get 1 iron near my capital in past versions.

I miss the old iron deposits. It posed more challenge.

I cleared the cache/moduserdata by the way. And i am only running IGE along with CEP/Communitas.

This is reproducible. I get the same thing everygame since 3.34

EDIT: After some more exploring. There is now a total of 5 irons in the capital range. After discovering Animal Husbandry, my capital city has 9 horses. 5 irons and 9 horses all within 3 hexes of the capital!

What were your map settings when you got the turn 0 defeat? There was some problems earlier with using random sea levels, temperature, rainfall, etc

strategic resources tiles don't seem more common than normal, but the quantities are vanilla settings i.e. coal tiles give 3 or7 instead of the gem/cep 1 or 2. iron gives 2 or 6 instead of 1 or 2. etc.

I started a new game to test this with Cep 3.3.5, and Map 1.2.3. I used default settings for the map. The iron and horse resources appeared to spawn in their usual modified quantities of 2-3 per tile (instead of vanilla 4-8). Check back in if you get different results after I release these versions.

If map creation ever fails again (turn 0 defeat), please attach your Lua.log to a new post (see here). It usually contains error messages when something goes wrong.
