CFC Mod! Freeze, miscreant!

Even tho CFC has close to 50k users, we're still a small community. Just about all of the people who've been around know who the mods are. And those that are newer learn pretty quickly. (Not that we hunt them down or anything....) And we're the only ones allowed to put 'Moderator' or 'Ruler' in the title area....

Sure, right...I didn't even notice when Moonsinger became a mod or even you or even when Hippo stepped down from moderation. Then again I also stopped hanging around the Civ3 forums at that point...

This thread reminds of the User Rank feature:

User Ranks:
Users ranks are rank insignia based on post count and usergroup that are displayed next to names in posts. User ranks work very similar to user titles, the main difference being that user titles are for all usergroups while user ranks can be created for specific usergroups. In this way you can create different rank insignia for different usergroups. User ranks appear next to names in posts.

Right. 5 stars for admins. 4 stars for mods.

I am just testing the feature out. It's not finalized yet. Who knows. I may give the mods 5 stars but in different color than the admin.

How about somehing like this:
After you do a certain number of posts in a forum you become an OT regular or Sports Regular, or Civ3 Regular..you get the point..
TF could develop some kind of image for the regulars

(HTML code: ¹ ) Quality. I've never seen <=> used that way before. Sometimes it's written as != which means

in text-based programming.

How about a special image for those who are occationally banned? Maybe like the star of david?
