You guys are a hell of a lot more optimistic on the Eagles then I am. You do know it's in Seattle right?

We've just got done losing back to back home games (first that's happened in a LONG time, but still).

Kam Chancellor and Richard Sherman are done for the season. Earl Thomas is "questionable" meaning he won't play at 100% if he comes. Dion Jordan, who really has been great, is "doubtful". Nazir Jones, also great - "doubtful". Bobby Wagner, who has been ridiculous this year - "questionable". Then on the offensive side of the ball, Jimmy Graham and Duane Browne are "questionable".

And this Eagles team has been humiliating everyone. The Redskins and Falcons didn't have a problem beating us at home. Why should the Eagles, out of everyone?

Note that I predicted we would win outright. That's only because I'm a homer.

I'm going on Seattle's injury situation.

Im going on the Seahawks being overrated, the 12th man being overrated, the Eagles being unstoppable this season and the Seahawks Defensive stars being hurt. Also, see...everything that cake just said... if cake is hedging this hard I think that there's some there, there, as in genuine doubt that Sea will win.

"In Seattle" doesn't matter much in this scenario... "The 12th Man" can't get on the field and intercept Wentz's passes. Its called the 12th man... and the NFL don't allow 12 men on the field. I think Seattle tops out at 10-6 this season.

Wentz's teammates won't be able to hear his audibles, which helps the defense, but not enough. Not when the Eagles offense is unbelievable and the LOB is the legion of banged-up.

edit: the 12th man definitely makes a difference, statistics prove it. However, "makes a difference" is not the same as "unstoppable". A team that is arguably the best in the NFL playing a good team with a significant number of key players injured could stop them.

I don't know. I think the Birds are like 1-4 in Century Link since the Andy Reid era. They don't travel to the west coast well, been a sad fact for this team for 15 years. This is likely the endless pessimism showing that comes with being a Philly fan though.
