CFC Pick'em Funtimes 2018-2019

Are injuries a part of why the spread is what it is for Atlanta vs Washington? It seems pretty generous to Atlanta otherwise. I don’t keep up with Redskins roster and I’m to google if the players on their injured list is particularly important.

You have to remember that the purpose of the line is to balance the bet. There aren't a lot of gamblers feeling strong on anyone from the NFC east against anyone from the NFC south, and the most lasting impression that Washington has left on anyone was getting slaughtered on national television by the Saints to the point where they basically quit on the field. Getting people to bet on them isn't easy.

They're a solid playoff team. I'm easily taking them.

Can’t win ‘em all...

Edit: my perfect record of nailing every Seahawk game continues to go unblemished. So at least that’s something, lol.

See I assumed it was a reference to the rams: Rams = Lambs = Ewes.

Yeah...around here it's more like Rams come to town and build a house, team that moves in as domestic partner is obviously their Ewes.

Care to explain these picks?

New Orleans to cover vs. Rams.
Ewes = Chargers - A poster at Football Outsiders called them that with respect their, um, position in the stadium sharing deal with the Rams.

I had a bad week of picks, and I really wanted this Monday Night game...but it still just feels so good watching the Pukes get stomped.

I'm from Northeast Texas and I'm tired of the nonstop Cowboy worship so I'm enjoying this beating too.

Carolina outright rest later. Seriously though I am the only one who thinks Carolina is top 5 in the whole league right now?

Also Owen you have me at no points for the NE game. Not a big deal just need to point it out.

Steelers cover...not that the Panthers aren't as good as you say, because i think they are...but road teams on Thursday night have a monster hill to climb, and Pittsburgh isn't a creampuff.
