I also aggree, since I own the DVD, and The Great Dictator is an outstanding movie. Besides, since we've already got a Marx Brothers nation (Freedonia), we might as well throw Charlie Chaplin in the mix, since that man was a true comedic genius.

If I might make some suggestions for UU's:

1 the Airborne amphibious dreadnaughts.

2. the Waffler SS (could use the Waffen SS that Winter made)

3. The (very) light artillery

4. the Schtapo (spoof on the Gestapo)

Unique improvement or small wonder(s):

The Venus of Today

The Thinker of Tomorrow

Hynkel's arch, with the clock that's 5 min. slow.

Oh, and for military great leaders, you can't forget about Gen. Schmeloffel.

Just a few ideas to throw out there.
 
The Great Dictator... that's what I meant.. hehe

Anyway, yeah, I mean, with Tomainia, we've got all of the big spoof nations... maybe only Parador would be missing!

You could almost believe that Tomainia and Freedonia existed in the same universe... Tomainia absolutely fits into this.

SOME NOTES TO EVERYBODY:

Since I am doing the biq file, I've review all the civs sevral times and just notifing you on some things:

What's up with red?

Many of us have choosen the same color for the game! At leastt 9 of you have chosen a shade of red! We may want to assemble new colors; submit a color and someone could put them all in the pallete or whatever it is called.

If not, please select new colors those of you who have chosen red, blue or any other common color. :)

Nazis vs. Commies

Many of us have chosen either fascism as thier favorite gaovernment and communism as thier least favorite or communism a thier favorite and fascism as thier shunned! This is not bad! It can form a huge side on side game of extent we have not seen before in Civilization! Six civs have fascism as thier favorite and 10 as thier shunned. Five have chosen communism as thier favorite and 11 as thier shunned! To add to this most of us have relitively high aggresion! Expect have wars and set allies and enemies in this mod!

I've chosen LIGHT Blue as my first choice, and GOLD as my second choice, red was at the bottom of the list. If I must, I'll take Cyan, Teal, Canary (Egypt Alternate color), or light cyan.

Bring it on! The Nazi oppressors must DIE!! :evil: Of course, the Seiryu Kingdom, being a libertarian Constitutional Monarchy, doesn't particularly like the Commies either, but at least they're better than the Fascists.

Nice idea, but perhaps call it "Moderators," not "Mod Squad."

I've already PM'ed 4 moderators regarding becoming units and have recieved 3 positive responses back, if we do decide to use this idea we could have them as thier UU's instead of military leaders?
