CFC User's Mod Thread II

Who how about the spammers as well! Curt or Perfection could lead them. Or we could make a cult of perfection civ. :p j/k

I'd rather see the mods and TF be units, that way everyone could build them

And as dom said, less brain power needed :D (and I've already written the message)

You know... I'm getting a little concerned by the overly-democratic nature of this mod... I think that if we are not careful, it will fly apart by shear centrifugal force.

The point was to sort of 'include' users. It wouldn't be possible to make it like everybody wanted.

Exactly... we do want to make it as close to what everybody wants as possible... but personally, I think I'm going to end up modding it on my own after I download it. *shrugs*

please do not clog up the library thread. each user should compile all of his/her info into 1 (yes, 1!) post and edit it as necessary. it would become murderous for those involved w/ compiling the info to have to search all of the different threads.

so, put as much info as possible into your post.

Yes, everyone, if you have time, please do this. I want to keep the number of nations I post several links for as small as possible. One link for each nation info = much easier for the people making the mod to get all the information and stick it in.

... so I guess I better do that too

as for civilopedia entries, post every single civilopedia entry that you may want included in the game in the library thread on one (1) post w/ all of your other stuff. ONE POST>>>NOT FOUR DIFFERENT THREADS PLEASE!!!!!!!

thank you

Maybe we should establish some rules to limit ourselves...
definitely...all UUs should be replacing a like or similar unit in the upgrade path not simply adding the Kool-Aide man next to your medevial infantry.

it really doesn't matter which era the funky UUs show up in so long as they're very close in stats to a.)the units they replace and b.)the units they're fighting against.

funky UUs are good but i can't see my poor Justo Musketmen getting slaughtered by a shower of sticky sugar water as a good thing ;)

You know, I just realized Rhye had offered to join in as a civ way back in the beginning, but he hasn't been seen since..... Maybe someone should get a hold of him?

I sent Sword of Geddon a message, and in the reply:

I suppose I'll take SoG of the list, then... :(

True. I'll resize it when I get a chance.

i hate to henpeck, but is it possible to get a lay-out looking something like that ******** looking screenie? could you seal off the peninsular opening so that if a city is built about half way down the River del Justos that it can support sea travel? (navigable waterway)

Sure thing. I doubt I'll need to do that for the 'concept map' I have up now, but I'll remember it for when I do the real map.

When we finish units, do we post them in the library with our civ, and just say who they're for, post them in the library as a seperate post, and post 'em in the unit preview and concept thread, and have you link over to 'em?
