[GS] Changes that wish to be in GS

Why not just require a civ to have learned Horseback Riding before the barbs get horses, which is in any case consistent with the way barbs get every other unit (I think - I don't think they get swordsmen with Bronze Working)?

I imagine the following conversation in barbarian camps:

Barbarian 1: Have you heard? The Scythians have discovered a powerful new weapon they call the horse.
Barbarian 2: Horses? I thought they were just a myth. What do they look like?
Barbarian 1: See that unicorn over there? Like that, only without the horn.
Barbarian 2: How do they use that as a weapon?
Barbarian 1: I'm a bit hazy on that, actually. I think they use its strength to help work the land and increase productivity. But they might just melt them down into raw materials.
Barbarian 2: Seems a lot less effort just to jump on one and charge the enemy with it.
Barbarian 1: Yeah, I thought so too. Hurry up, we've probably only got a couple of centuries before they come up with the idea as well.

Why? Cos I think they still want barbs getting them much sooner than everyone else.

That's the reason why i turned off auto unit cycling as a whole...
I've also turned off auto unit cycling, long ago, but that still doesn't prevent one of my pet peeves which is the illogical auto unit selection.

I really prefer to move my scouts first when I play, so I can see if they might discover a goody hut or a barb camp or perhaps a natural wonder that could make a difference in how I will use my other units on that turn. For some reason, however, the game will always select my scouts as the very last option. Why???

Something I really want in GS: a smart way to automate trade routes and spies

For example: A trade setting that is "maximize gold" where each trader will just automatically change cities and take the most financially lucrative route. You could have options like "don't trade with civ X" or "don't start trade routes from city Y". Of course there should also be "maximize internal food" etc.

Also something similar from spies. How about "seek for great works"? "Everybody guard spaceports"? etc

If they could automate workers in civ V, they can automate traders in civ VI, I'm sure. Although I'd prefer a bit more control, since auto workers in Civ V just spam trading posts
