Changing Culture trees

Hey i was wondering if there was any simple way to increase the number of social policy trees you need to have unlocked to build the utopia project? also if there was some way to change the per city culture cost increase (basicly i want more to play arround with more policies without it being insta victories )

You can see the definitions for the Utopia Project in the Projects.xml (think it's in Gameplay -> GameInfo -> Civ5Projects.xml.

You should see <NumCultureBranchesRequired> or something. Change it to whatever.

You can change the per city culture cost through GlobalDefines.xml (IIRC).

Remember that you can't have more than seven policy trees at the same time, so increasing the number of policy trees past 7 is impractical.

And in practice, you usually will only have 6 trees at once as Patronage and Commerce are widely considered to be mutually exclusive.
