Changing where resources can spawn

Hi all,

I'm brand new to the site, first post and I apologize if the location is wrong.

I'm hoping someone can help.

I want to make it so resources spawn in logical geographic locations.

My big beef is Penguins all over the map and camels outside the desert.

Can this be fixed? I would love to know and thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum :)

Penguins and Camels? Sounds like you are using a mod. It is best to post that in a place where the mod is specifically maintained - maybe the author can make some changes. Or if you are modder yourself, post this as a question in the modding section, e.g. in the quick questions thread there: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/quick-modding-questions-thread.637803/page-49
 
Firstly, as already stated, wrong forum. Secondly, the OP has both Suk's & Civitas's resource mods enabled. Thirdly, as also already stated, you can change in the mod, or in your own, the TerrainType in the Resource_ValidTerrains table corresponding to these resources. And, finally, just an fyi, but I had already posted the code to change the Penguin spawn behavior in the Civitas mod's Steam comments if you want to look it up.
