How do you get into chatrooms??

I login into it, I found out that i was not in the chat room but a room before the chat room, and i coudn't talk or log in to the chat room

Do you use the java chat or the mIRC to enter the chat?

For the java chat, all you need to do is enter a user name then connect.

For mIRC, you first need to log on to the irc-chat.net then join the channel #civfanatics.

This page gives you good instructions on how to log into the chatroom.

Another option is to download a mIRC (it's available at the above page, or at www.mirc.com). Once it's running, you can either connect by playing around with the options box, setting the server to irc.irc-chat.net, port 6667.

Or, you can use the following commands:

/server -m irc.irc-chat.net

After you've connected, type

/join #civfanatics

to get to the room.

Hmm, I have never seen you in #demogame room . Is there a second one for use with the Civ2 DG?

Oh, we talk about way more than that. I've never even been to a scheduled game chat, and I visit there all the time.
