Cheating

I love this game but am actually crap at it; I have to reliey on the money cheat in where you demand 10000000 gold per turn. But the first patch disabled this. Are there any patches avalable that do not disable this.

You'll get better if you do things like read the strategy and tips threads.

Cheating will not improve your game.

If your playing on Chieftain then you should still be able to use the special no money tactic. You set your science to 100% and you will be losing gold per turn, but it will not have an effect.
