Have you changed the moveement of the units so that it seems more like chess?
All of the units can be moved in any direction, because the movements of pieces in real chess are too complicated to be used in Civ. I tried to make up for this by editing the attack, defense, and movement of the units.Have you changed the moveement of the units so that it seems more like chess?
I did this to create the "moving king into check" rule. But I guess it would be a better idea to create a low attack and no defense as soulrver suggested. I'll change that in the next version. Why does the King have 0 HP? The King should be able to attack.

DanielF said:lol, yeah. I'm not sure how to make it happen less frequently. I'll look into it though.

I know but can you remake this scenario and make it for PTW or for Civ3?The Omega said:No, they don't have locked wars.

Why would you want to remove the defense values of the units? That make the game too fast and too much of a back and forth game.North King said:This is an excellent scenario. Suggestion: to make it more chesslike, remove all defensive values. In real chess, you can only attack, and set up big schemes of how to attack. I wish there was some way to make it impossible to stack units...
I won, anyhow.![]()
