Chieftan HOF attempt

Hi all,

just wanted to inform you all that I've started another attempt for the HOF on Chieftan level. Normally I would have waited till I played a little bit before posting, but I got a wonderful start. Here's a pic at 2750 BC I have just researched The Wheel

What's the map size?

Huge, archipelago. One negative thing though, by rushing The Pyramids, I wasted my golden age in despotism. OTOH it also made up for the fact that I'm not so skillful at micromanagement. So it's a 50 50 situation.
Here's the map at 950 BC. The two cities outside the view are two luxury cities.

Only real problem is getting my Settlers in place (BTW really huge 'island' )

That looks like a good splurge youve got there by 10AD. Can you give us the numbers? .... cities, settler/worker, military numbers?

Very nice! I also noticed in later post that you are on a huge continent too. That would make your Pyramid very useful. Btw, what graphic pack are you using to get that nice solid border? Thanks!

BTW thanks for the compliment. Allthough I've still got a long way to go before being able to really milk a game, I've already micromanaged more than in all my other games together (as a matter of speaking).

Thanks for the link! Speaking of micromanagement, don't forget to check out the latest edition of the CRPMapStat; it has helped cut my milk time at least 1/2.

How in the world are you getting all thoes settlers?

A combination of the Pyramids, some early Settler pumps and nice terrain (for the Maya almost everything is nice )
