I'm seeing slightly conflicting information; how compatible is the AND mega civ pack with this mod? Some posts I see saying it causes crashing, others that it just throws up popup error messages, and so on

I don't remember now what those errors are exactly. Causing crash? No. Unbalancing the game? Maybe a little.
Annoying on every start? Very much.

I need to get some time to update the megapack sometime...

from what I saw the errors mostly had to deal with civic choices, like Pacifism, Nationalism, Despotism, etc, along with two building types Agora and Sagas

Okay, I looked after it and yeah, those are harmless but annoying error messages.
Now I'm in the mood to update MCP, at least this part.
There are way more things to update though: UUs, UBs and models but those can wait...

Since I got your attention, is there any way to enable the popup whenever a new government type is unlocked with the option of doing it, "no the old ways are best", or "lets see the bigger picture"?

No, it was disabled in the dll in order to prevent switching to a civic that that would be otherwise blocked by other civics.

Not sure if it's intentional or not, but currently Angry Faces and Sick Faces aren't showing up on my cities when the city is unhealthy or unhappy. I remember them popping up early on in the game but after some time they disappeared. Not sure if it's related, but cities are showing a tiny blue exclamation point over them, too. Were either of these things intentional or did I mess with the BUG settings somewhere to break them?

(stink lines in red showing it's unhealthy)

Hmm... Can you send a save file, please?

But the blue exclamation mark are unrelated. That's a resource but I'll let you find it out on your own ;)

Included my most recent save and the earliest one I made
