You all know that city names get a "New" added when you get thru all the city names, then when new gets attached to all of the cities then a "2" is added ... well from time to time (not every game or even tied to a specific civ) it is like it forgets the city names ..
So I will be playing along and go to build a new city and the city name is only New ( I am lazy and always use the city names provided) so I end up with a nation of New 1, New 2, etc. .. the last civ i played that this happened to was the Sumerians ... it still should have been attaching new to the city names ...
Any thoughts on why this happens ...
