It's no surprise when blokes from Firaxis turn up here (15000 members) or at Poly (19000 members) but I've been lurking around the new RON site and when I see a guy like Tim Train turn up regularly to answer questions on a forum that has all of 91 members, I can't help but thinking: these guys are a class act.
As the coding wizard behind all of Brian's smash titles, Jason Coleman brings a wealth of programming experience to Big Huge Games. The chief architect of the Big Huge game development library, Jason also built the code framework for Civilization II® and Alpha Centauri®.
Tim [Train]'s career in computer games began in 1991 as a team member on the original Civilization®. His impressive list of credits include contributions to Masters of Orion, Command HQ, Darklands, Colonization®, F14 Fleet Defender, Civilization II®, Magic: The Gathering, Sid Meier's Gettysburg!, and dozens of other titles. As producer and co-designer, he organized and directed the development of Alpha Centauri®, PC Gamer's Best Turn-based Strategy Game of 1999. Most recently, he designed and produced Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire, the award-winning expansion for Alpha Centauri.
