Civ 4 BtS wont install

Warlords and Vanilla installed and worked fine on my computer but when i try and install BtS instead of giving me the install option it gives me the play option and when i click on play nothing happens so i dont understand the problem. Im using the right disc and it still doesnt work. Any Solutions?

Well one time i accidently installed it before warlords and it gave me an error message and next time i tried it stopped working. So i uninstalled and reinstalled all the civs and nothing do you have any solutions?

I guess something, but not sure about it...

Short background: When you install something on your PC, it gets in most times added to your registry, that's the "index" of your computer (more or less). If you run that program then again, it will look up if it has been installed or not.
So, could be, that your faulty BtS installation has left something back in the registry and it still thinks it is installed, but isn't (that would explain why you can choose the play option).

So, how to solve:
- Uninstall civ4 completely
- Use this tool to clean up the registry from everything related to civ4
- Install again

Not the nicest solution, but works normally.
