Civ 5 Design Challenge II - Mechanics

I'll go with Keniisu's Ghana, I love a good Ghana design and there are parts of the uniques that would be great for single and multi. The gold off the market is a good mechanic, and the UA has some good conceptual applications, but I like the UU best, I imagine the civ has a desert bias and a desert knight with trade strength including internal trade routes is well designed.

Yeah, I'm quite a fan of Ghana as well. But to be honest I don't know which one to choose! I love them all!

Also here's the recap designs for this weeks mechanic challenge! This time there were many submissions, eight in total! Many of them were varied and unique. (No Nabatea oddly enough) So here they are! We have:

GPuzzle's Sultanate of Rum!
Natan's Mali Empire!
Keniisu's Ghana Empire!
Urdnot_Scott's Kingdom of Armenia!
inthesomeday's Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem!
Uighur_Caesar's Ryukyu!
kul's Lanun!
NiaoMeow's Sultanate of Malacca!

Also For testing purposes...

Gotta go with Scott. He has quite an interesting design, which doesn't encourage a certain style of play directly, giving the players various bonuses which could help the players help the way they won't. Freedom could be absolutely amazing with this civ: you'd simply enter an endless golden age, with tons of gold made from receiving trade routes. Add that to the faith you'll gain from an enormous army placed inside forts\ citadels, you'll dominate the game outright.

After much debating and thinking, I put my vote down for Keniisu, I'm really impressed with all these designs. But Keniisu did a really good job with his!

But guys, where are your votes? There's only one day left of voting!

It may be necessary to extend the voting time

I think we should, so far there have been only four votes, half as many votes as there are designs. Meaning not everyone who made a design has voted yet, which ought to change over the weekend at the very least.

All right then! The voting period has officially been extended to Monday the 22nd. Don't disappoint gentlemen.

Two for Scott and two for Keniisu? Also featuring the first vote ever for a design by inthesomeday, the handsomest and bravest of all the designers? What a race

You have to remember inthesomeday that, while today is Monday for both you and I (at least judging by what you said I believe it's Monday where you are) most of the people here are one day behind. So we have to wait till tomorrow before closing the vote. Hopefully some one gains a majority by then. (hope it's Keniisu, want him to win.)

Sorry I didn't vote, but Congrats Urdnot_Scott! Was hoping I'd win, but I'm glad you won as your design was quite well :)

Alright then my mechanic is
