Sultanate of Demak
Leader: Sultan Treggono
Capital: :c5capital:Bintoro

UA: Pioneers of Faith
May not found a religion nor producing Great Prophet. Upon the first time reaching the faith requirement of a Great Prophet, receive a free Wali Songo whose teaching can you choose from one of the currently available religion in the game. Whenever the founder of said religion purchases anything through faith, theres 40% percent chance that whatever it is are also granted freely in one of your cities that follows said religion. 1 Faith and 1 Gold on recourses on coastal tiles.

UU: Wali Songo
Replacement for Missionary who started only able to spread religion once but wont disappear upon consumption, and instead gain XP and give you a random lump of yield each time when spreading religion. For each level, the Wali Songo ability to spread religion are added by 1, to the maximum of 4. Wali Songo could replenish their religion spread ability by staying inside your Capital or adjacent to its religion's Holy City for a number of turns (scaled with level). Maximum leveled Wali Songo are able to be consumed to build a Holy Site, create any Cultural Great Work, initiate Golden Age and even unlocking further belief to the religion when inside the Holy City territory (if possible). There could only be 9 Wali Songo during the duration of the game.

UB: Makam Ziarah
Replacement of Grand Temple which can be built in your Capital, ignoring the Holy City Requirement. Makam Ziarah initially doesnt have any base yield and only increase the Religious pressure by 20%. However, upon consuming or killing a Great People within 15 tiles of any of your cities, receive 2 of their respective yield and 1 tourism inside the building. Both yields are duplicated by each era passed.

Another Indonesian civ! Been daydreaming about how to translate Wali Songo, 9 Islamic Saints of Java into Civilization V mechanics, and here it is.

I find MTG Civs way too easy to make...

The Temur Frontier under Surrak
UA: Heir of the Wilds
Worked Tundra and Snow tiles produce :c5faith: Faith, and Deer have a chance to appear on Snow and Tundra tiles. Combat units gain experience while stationed on Camps, and may access unique promotions if they level up by doing so.

UU: Whisperer
Replacing the Missionary, the Whisperer is considerably more expensive. It may spread religion an unlimited number of times, but suffers double attrition damage. As with Temur combat units, it gains experience on Camps, giving it access to unique promotions which provide bonuses upon spreading religion.

UI: Bivouac
Unlocked at Trapping, and may only be built on Snow or Tundra tiles. +1 :c5food: Food and :c5production: Production, as well as an additional +1 :c5food: Food when built on Snow. Upon researching Chivalry, each Bivouac yields +1 :c5culture: Culture, and units stationed on Bivouacs heal twice as quickly.

UNIQUE PROMOTIONS
Battle Rage: +20% Combat Bonus on Snow or Tundra tiles.
Charm: Attacked units receive a 20% combat penalty until the next turn.
Charger: Double movement on Snow or Tundra tiles. Requires Battle Rage.
Runemark: +20% Combat Bonus while Flanking. Requires Charm.
War Shaman: Adjacent friendly units receive a +10% Combat Bonus. Increased to +15% on Snow or Tundra. Requires Runemark.
Ascendancy: +2 Movement, and gain Faith and Science upon attacking. Requires Charger and War Shaman.

WHISPERER PROMOTIONS
Way of the Island: Gain Science upon spreading a religion. May be chosen more than once.
Way of the Mountain: Gain Culture upon spreading a religion. May be chosen more than once.
Way of the Forest: Gain Faith upon spreading a religion. May be chosen more than once.

Obsession time

Chola Dynasty(Rajendra Chola I)
UA: Age of the Southern Sharks
Cities receiving both internal and external :trade: trade routes generate +1 :c5gold: gold from farms and yield +3 :c5greatperson: Great merchant points. Specialists increase naval unit :c5production: production by 5% and grant a :c5strength: strength boost to those trained in their city.

UU: Thiravi
Replaces great merchant. Being a naval unit, it may not build custom houses but it has :c5strength: combat strength equal to your strongest unit. The Thiravi gains XP when performing a :c5gold: trade mission rather than being consumed, and also gains XP when you kill send a :trade: trade route or conquer a city. When stationed in a city, all :trade: trades routes going to or from it generate +2 :c5gold: gold, increased to +3 :c5gold: for cargo ships.

UU: Thirisadai
Much more expensive, it's stronger(20 :c5rangedstrength:, 18 :c5strength:) than the Galleass it replaces and also has the "three braids" trait, which means that any enemies adjacent to it won't receive nor grant flanking bonuses and will take extra damage(25%) when attacking.

C&C version
Spoiler :
UA: Masters of the Golden Coast
Gain an extra claim with all coastal city states, and pay 33% less :c5gold: gold to annex them. :trade: Cargo ships increase the :c5strength: strength of both naval and embarked units, and grant :c5greatperson: Great merchant points if sent to :c5citystate: city states.

UU: Thiravi
Replaces the great merchant. The Thiravi grants :c5influence: influence when performing :c5gold: trade missions, and may be consumed for dignitaries rather than for custom houses.

First of I did the fancy list thing! (yay!) Second of, since it's been a week since this challenge started and since TarcisioCM didn't give us due and voting date and no one has posted anything new within the week, I'm going to start the vote! And so here are all our contenders! Only four people this time, but that doesn't matter! Probably make voting easier.

Also my vote goes to Kul's Sultanate of Demak, for lot's of reasons, but mainly because it's a religious civ that can't found a religion, and I like that.

I vote for scapegrace.

senshi for me

I vote Natan.

Because it's only fair, that's why. =]

Lol everyone who posted a design voted for me.

I rest my case...

It's still a tie between you and kul, so you're not in the clear yet!

how can you have a three way tie between two people?

You can tell them apart because the other one spells his name backwards. =]
